Some more pictures of the beautiful Little Ringed Plover

Spring is coming closer and I am already looking forward to be able to take some pictures of the little ringed Plovers again. they Usually arrive in March or April and I can find them at the gravel pits along the danube and also at the danube near Power Plants when the water level is low. If the weather is nice in the next few weeks I will defenitely visit the Water Power Plant near Linz for some Photography, of course only if the water levels of the danube are low.

When I try to take some pictures of birds like these I always try to get as low in position as possible, I try to lie down on the ground and take some pictures from the ground even if it means that I have to lie down in mudd or at the gravel of the riverbed. But the Pictures from these angles are so much better than when trying to shoot from above that it is defenitely worth it.
