My Encounte with the red fox

At Lake Neusieder me and Stefan were very lucky and the fox was hunting rigt infront of our photo hide. We were there very early in the morning and about one hour after sunrise this beautiful red fox appeared and hunted some birds right infront of us. Unfortunately it wasn't successful at least of what we saw. It was running around the shoreline of the lake and tried to catch some ducks but as far as I saw all of the flew away before the fox caught them.

I was really lucky that I was in a hide nearby and the fox didn't really notice us so it was really undisturbed in hunting and watching it was really a pleasure. I hope I have a similar experience some time soon.

Lovely photos of the red fox Florian. Congrats!
I have never been in a photo hide :)

It was not hide per se. I should have better described it as cabin that has some open windows where you are able to take some pictures.
