Little Spider at her net

I have to admit that spiders are probably not my favorite animals, I don't like them but at least I don't fear them like some girlfriends of mine that I know. When I have a spider in my bedroom I try to keep them out. I found this spider up on the Grossglockner here in Austria. It built its nest up there near a lake and between some small reed and plants.

Amazing detail, and just stunning photography overall! It is so fascinating to see these insects up close, you just get a new level of understanding and compassion for them. I always marvel at their beauty which is only exposed when you look so close. Thanks for sharing!
