Frozen flowers and flower details

Flowers and the blossom of trees can be very beautiful now in spring and I have to make some pictures like these again soon when I have more time after my movement to my new home. Some years ago I found some really nice pictures of frozen flowers in the internet and I had to try it myself. I went outside picked some flowers and froze them in the refrigerator.

These are some of the result from back then. But I am looking forward to get some great results now this year too. Now in the middle of spring when all the flowers and trees are in full bloom I can hopefully find some really nice colorful flowers or blossom from trees for some pictures. As I already said the last time I wrote about these frozen flowers I really need to experiment with the Ice that I am using. I heard that distilled water or water that has been cooked before freezing will create a different kind of Ice with more or less bubbles enclosed in it.
