Eurasian Wren at the Nature reserve

The eurasian wren is one of the smaller birds in europe and I was luyky to find it and take some pictures at the Inn River Nature Reserve in Upper Austria. I was on a photography trip with Stefan when Stefan saw this little bird jumping around near a small creek. We stopped and waited there to take some pictures of this cute little bird. One of the most striking features of the Eurasian Wren are the tail feathers that this birds can set up in this special way.

Eventhough this is one of the smallest birds in europe it has a pretty nice and loud song, and it is really a pleasure listening to it. When I saw it I took several pictures of it with my Camera on "Burst" Mode. It was only here for a very short time but still I was able to get several pictures of it. When I see these pictures here I think that I really need to go on a wildlife photography trip again soon. I havent been at the Inn River for some time now and I was really always very happy of the results on different bird photos I shot there. So it is probably time to visit it very soon eventhough it is already pretty late in spring and summer is already around the corner.

I have to admit that this spring I was occupied a little bit to much with other things than photography, a lot of work at home and in my company kept me from taking too many photography trips. And when I spend my time on a trip I did a lot more sightseeing trips in towns and Cities this year. And I als have to admit that I spend a lot of time at my house in the garden this year.
