Bunny eating some grass in Vienna

In Vienna there is a spot where several bunnies live. And when I visit Vienna for some hamster and ground squirrel photography, I usually also visit this spot to get some pictures of the bunnies. In the short grass it is very nice to get some great pictures of these animals, so depending on the time you visit them it might be more or less difficult to photograph them since the grass is not always this short. They have a small "forrest" with caves where they hide during the night.

One good thing that they live in Vienna in a park is that they are used to humans and don't flee if you are there. Of course too close is not good but you can get close enough for some pictures if you stay on the ground and crawl on the floor to get closer. Crawling is something that helps me to get close to a lot of subjects also birds. You just need to know that you get a little dirty and take a trousers and T-shit that can get dirty. For several pictures of mine I have to lay down on the ground and crawl to get close enough, this is also often the case for taking pictures of birds. But what also helps is lying down and waiting for them to get closer on their own.
