Beautiful mountain landscape at Grossglockner in Austria

The Grossglockner is the hightes mountain in Austria and with nearly 3800 meters high also one of the biggest mountains in Europe. It has a very nice landscape and hiking up there is wonderful. There is a nice road up there that allows you to drive to various nice locations there but you need to go for a hike to get to some of the spots. At Kaprun you can take the cable car to these water reservoirs of the Power Plant.

Even in Summer you can see the snow on the mountain tops of the Grossglockner mountain group since it is permanent ice up there. I really like these pictures with the green grass in the foreground the nice gree water and the snow in the Background as well as the blue sky.

Depending on my holiday plans this year I might visit this spot again, but I am not sure yet since I probably need to do a little more workout for the hiking pathes there. Ok there are also some not so difficult ones that I might try but we'll see, the holiday plans for the upcoming year are not set yet. When Stefan and I visited the Grossglocker also a lot of other people were up there and were hiking and enjoying the nice and great nature there but since the landscape is so big up there the people really split up in different groups and you don't see so many on the pictures to my delight.

Beautiful photos, bring me back to when I lived in Salzburg in 2019, but it was winter and beginning of spring so I wasn't able to enjoy this kind of scenery.

Somewhere I read that it was bad for nature to stack rocks like that, but I have no idea why or if its even true lol
