Beautiful Male Pheasant in the field
Now in Early spring when there are no crops planted yet on the fields birds are very good visible when they search the field for some food. One of the birds that can be found regularly on these crop fields is the Pheasant. The female birds are not so easy to spot since they have a very good camouflage color but the male Pheasants are very colorful and easy to spot on the cropfield that don't give them spots to hide. And now in early spring until the crops start to grow this will be like this for a while.
Pheasants are omnivores, feeding on seeds, fruits, insects, and small vertebrates, and in the crop fields they find all of these sorts of food. These birds play a significant role in ecosystems by helping control insect populations and contributing to seed dispersal.
