Another Encounter with the Squirrels

Time is flying by and next week I will be visiting Lake Balaton for some birdphotography, I hope I am successful there and I am already looking forward to this trip with great anticipation. Today I managed to get some more pictures of the great crested grebe, but I still need to look through the pictures to show you some of the hightlights. Meanwhile I show you some pictures I did some time ago when I visited the squirrels this spring. They are always so cute but since it is still pretty cold here they still have their grey wintercoat. I hope I can get some nice pictures of their red coat soon since summer should hopefully be just around the corner, at least I hope so. And the weather forecast tells me that End of May the summer should come and temepratures of about 25 Degrees celsius should be possible. The 10 to 15 degrees we have now are just a little low.

Oh what a beauty! It is so strange and unusual to see a squirrel in a winter coat against the background of already green grass.

Yes they still need to change their coat but as you can see on the second picture on the tail it is already starting to get brown.
