Una mañana que me regaló paz [ESP-ENG]

Hoy aproveché que mi hijo se fue temprano a entrenar en la Ciudad Deportiva. Lo acompañé hasta la parada y, como de ahí a la playa hay solo cinco minutos caminando, decidí darme un respiro y ver el amanecer. Aunque ya eran las 6:30 y estaba un poco tarde, el cielo seguía oscuro por la lluvia de anoche y la mañana nublada.

Today I took advantage of the fact that my son left early to train at the Ciudad Deportiva. I accompanied him to the bus stop and, since it was only a five minute walk from there to the beach, I decided to take a break and watch the sunrise. Although it was already 6:30 and I was a little late, the sky was still dark from last night's rain and the cloudy morning.

Fue una decisión sin planificación. Me acordé de mi antigua rutina, cuando entraba a trabajar a las 8:00 am y podía caminar antes de comenzar el día. Desde que cambiaron mi horario a las 7:00 am, no lo había podido hacer más. Me prometí que en vacaciones lo retomaría al menos cuatro veces por semana, pero no lo había logrado hasta hoy.

It was an unplanned decision. I remembered my old routine, when I went into work at 8:00 am and was able to walk before I started my day. Since they changed my schedule to 7:00 am, I had not been able to do it anymore. I promised myself that on vacation I would resume it at least four times a week, but I hadn't managed to do it until today.

Mientras esperaba con mi hijo en la parada, le dije: “La playa me llama, me llama, me llama”. Y apenas él se montó en el autobús, decidí seguir ese llamado. Llegué a una playa solitaria, calmada, con el sol apenas asomándose. Un espectáculo natural que me llenó el alma.

As I waited with my son at the bus stop, I told him: "The beach is calling me, calling me, calling me. And as soon as he got on the bus, I decided to follow that call. I arrived at a solitary, calm beach, with the sun barely peeking through. A natural spectacle that filled my soul.

Durante el recorrido me crucé con algunas personas haciendo ejercicio, un señor trotando con su hijo, un pajarito, un perrito que no logré fotografiar.

During the tour I came across some people exercising, a man jogging with his son, a little bird, a little dog that I did not manage to photograph.

Y hay algo muy especial que quiero compartir con ustedes es el mural que están haciendo en la playa en honor a las tortugas marinas.

Está hecho con tapas plásticas. Yo estuve el día que comenzaron, cuando apenas estaban trazando el diseño en la pared. Hoy vi cuánto ha avanzado y está quedando bellísimo.

Playa el Agua no solo es hermosa, sino que también es una zona de desove de tortugas marinas y justo ahora estamos en su temporada, que se extiende hasta septiembre y en su honor, se realizan diversas actividades para concientizar sobre la protección de estas especies, que lamentablemente están en peligro de extinción.

Conectar con la naturaleza, especialmente en la playa a primera hora de la mañana, es un regalo para el cuerpo y el alma.

El sonido del mar, la brisa y la energía del sol naciente le regala vitamina al organismo, y llenan de una paz que difícilmente se encuentra en otro lugar.

Esta salida me encantó. Espero poder seguir haciéndola. Mi hijo, aunque no le gusta mucho entrenar en la mañana, está cumpliendo su rutina y eso le ayuda. Y yo aprovecho para reconectar con esta costumbre que tanto me gusta.

I loved this outing. I hope I can continue to do it. My son, although he doesn't really like to train in the morning, is sticking to his routine and that helps him. And I take the opportunity to reconnect with this habit that I like so much.
