My outfit for the certificate ceremony || en-es

At the institution, they would hold a certificate ceremony at the PDVSA headquarters. It is an event that is held frequently, but the novelty was that the certificates were for one of my participants and they asked me to attend as part of the authorities who would preside over the event.
Wow! Since it was my first time attending in that role, I wanted to look extremely beautiful and different from how I usually appear when I go to teach. It's not that I dress poorly, but I'm more casual or uniformed, so it was an excellent opportunity to dust off some clothes I had been wanting to wear for a long time, and this time, I managed to combine them like this:
The first thing was my white pants. I bought them 7 years ago and had only worn them once. Because I usually ride a motorcycle or take the bus, it's very difficult for me to find a special occasion to wear them.
The good thing is that, despite the time, it still fits me as well as when I bought it 😊, so I said this time I will definitely wear it. I find it an elegant pair of pants because it has a high waist and is comfortable at the same time since it's made of jeans-like fabric, which made me feel super confident at all times.
That said, I carried it in my bag and changed into it at the place, to avoid any accident or stain while I was there.

En la institución harían una entrega de certificados en la sede de PDVSA. Es un acto que se hace frecuentemente, pero la novedad es que los certificados eran a uno de mis participantes y me pidieron que fuera como parte de las autoridades que presidirían el acto.
¡Wow! Como era primera vez que asistía en esa figura, pues quise verme hermosísima y diferente a como siempre suelo lucir cuando voy a dar clases. No es porque me vista mal, sino que soy más informal o tengo uniforme, así que era una excelente oportunidad para desempolvar algunas cosas que tenía tiempo con ganas de ponerme y esta vez, lo logré combinar de esta forma:
Lo primero fue mi pantalón blanco. Lo compré hace 7 años y solo me lo puse una sola vez. Siempre por aquello de que ando en moto, o en bus, se me hace muy difícil encontrar una ocasión especial para colocármelo.
Lo bueno es que, a pesar del tiempo, me queda tan bien como cuando lo compré 😊, así que dije esta vez sí o si me lo pongo. Me parece un pantalón elegante porque es corte alto y cómodo a la vez porque es tela tipo jeans que me hizo sentir superconfiada en todo momento.
Eso sí, yo lo llevé en mi bolso y cuando estuve en el sitio me cambié, para evitar cualquier accidente o mancha mientras estaba en el acto.
Combining it was super easy because it could go with any color (like black does), but it turns out I have few formal shirts for the occasion. This is because I don't attend many events of this magnitude, or when I have formal outings, I wear some type of dress or something more revealing. Another thing I took into account was not dressing all in white or beige that would highlight different shades of 'white.'
I had a black sleeveless blouse in the back of my drawer, always waiting for the opportunity to wear it, but I saw it as so simple that I always skipped it. I paired it with a red open-cut jacket my mother lent me, which covered all my arms.

Combinarlo fue superfácil porque podía ser con cualquier color (como funciona el negro), pero resulta que tengo pocas camisas tipo formal para la ocasión. Esto se debe a que no asisto a muchos eventos de esta envergadura o cuando tengo salidas formales, es con algún tipo de vestido o algo con pronunciado descote. Otra cosa que tome en cuenta, es no vestirme toda de blanco o beige que marcara colores distintos de "blancos".
Tenía una blusa negra sin mangas en el cajón del olvido, siempre encontrando la oportunidad de lucirla, pero la veía tan simple que siempre pasaba. La combiné con una chaqueta roja que me prestó mi madre de corte abierto y que cubría todas mis mangas:

Mis zapatos también forman parte de ese cúmulo de cosas que tienen años conmigo y ni los uso ni los regalo (debo trabajar en eso). Eso sí, estos zapatos han pagado todo su precio desde hace años porque son muy cómodos y resistentes. Creo que lo único que le cambié fue las tapas y allí siguen dando la batalla:
