The European Union is sinking.

The title is incorrect: we Europeans are sinking the European Union, or the Brussels bureaucrats are making a fortune at our expense, and when the continent burns, they'll take their loot elsewhere to enjoy what they stole.

I know I don't usually make these kinds of posts, and I don't think I'll make many, but I'm especially angry right now. This week we saw how our leaders clearly acted against the interests of their citizens with the agreement with the United States.
The European Union, or rather the European Coal and Steel Community (ECSC), which is how it was created. Its very name indicates that it was a union to defend European countries. Europe is a fragmented continent, and that makes it prone to war. Joining may seem like a good idea at first, but like everything, it depends on how the tools are used.
This weekend we saw how that use has been detrimental to the European citizens who signed a clearly detrimental agreement. The English left, and that was bound to hurt them, but as we've seen, they've gotten a much better deal despite being much weaker.
And I wonder when we Europeans will wake up and eliminate these power parasites?
