Rainy Wednesday - Alive And Thriving - Actifit: October 11, 2023

On my Wednesday it rained a lot in the early afternoon, and then it cleared up, and the late afternoon was nice, and in the evening and night the wind picked up and was blowing really hard.
I am still walking everywhere, and I got a few pictures from a late afternoon walk, which was very nice.
In the day I had a lot to do offline, and then I went on Hive in the evening, where I completed most of the daily tasks before bed, I did however miss Alive Chat as I decided to rest for a bit before making it, and ended up falling asleep instead, so it was done on Thursday instead.
This is my participation in the #POLIAC competition run by @poliac aka @browery, and my participation in #MAcFiT from @macfit aka @merthin.
Here are some pictures from my day.
Water drops on a rose that is still in bloom in the park.
The low late afternoon sun and the fall colors was really nice to see.
I walked past City Hall with it's big tower, and by the water close by.
Then over the canal and to the mainland and into The City.

In one photo there are no boats, did they move them because of the high winds?
That is closest to City Hall, so those are mostly temporary places.

Ok, I get it now, here the only time you see empty boat slips is when we have bad weather.
Yeah boat slips here are quite expensive, and even then there is usually a long waiting list.

Wow you walked by the promenade beside the water again. That's such a lovely view. I'd look for a bench and spend some time watching the water. LOL! It looks so clean so I'm going to guess there's fresh air beside the harbor. In some areas here, the water could be quite smelly and it's not a pleasant place to sit around and relax. :P
A-ha I'm waiting for the Friday AliveChat post again. Maybe later... do get enough rest and sleep. Weekend's here. Yipee!
