You mentioned Hazel Nut and it got me thinking that maybe I should transplant a bush from my cottage property to city property. However, getting some nuts will be a challenge to compete with the Grey Squirrels.

Like you, I have been in the same home for many years and I planted a row of Cedar in 1982. At the corner of the lot, I setup a spot to sit, feed the critters, chat with the Old Lady and sometimes just enjoy a little meditation under some trees.
