My Omkareshwar temple travel : Some moments of Narmada and sunset
Morning tea in Vadodara and desire for a new destination... and we headed towards Omkareshwar. Changing views on the way, the feeling of reaching the lap of nature away from the crowd of the city... this was the first beautiful glimpse of the day. The freshness of the morning and the journey on the way gave great freshness to the heart.

As soon as it was evening, the steps stopped at Omkareshwar Dham. The sound of bells, the smell of incense and the sight of Lord Shankar... that was a moment, where all the tiredness went away and only peace was visible. That beautiful moment spent inside the temple was a spiritual experience in itself, where there was a flood of devotion everywhere.

And then the most special moment of the day... sitting on the banks of Mother Narmada and watching the sunset. As the sun started setting, the sky became covered in red-orange colours. The play of his image on the waves of Narmada, and the beautiful sight that was absorbed in the eyes... this scene touched the heart. That time, that silence and that beauty… there was nothing just me and nature.

This journey which started from Vadodara, ended at the peace of Omkareshwar and the confluence of Narmada. There are some moments which remain memorable. This journey was also one of them.
