Exploring the Beauty of Khandala: A Travel Experience

Travel experience always fills new energy in life and when this journey is with friends, its pleasure increases manifold. Some time ago I had a chance to visit Khandala. This journey started with my village Vadodara. Waking up early in the morning and I packed my bags and said goodbye to the family. I had a different enthusiasm in my mind because this journey was not just to visit but to make memories of life with friends. I reached the airport from Vadodara and left for Mumbai by flight. Flying on the clouds, peeping out of the window during the flight, was a dream -like experience. The fields, mountains and rivers lying down were as if they looked part of a beautiful painting. After reaching Mumbai, the crowded atmosphere was immediately felt, but the enthusiasm in me was so much that the name of fatigue was not taken.

I met my friends as soon as I got out of Mumbai Airport. We were already waiting eagerly for this journey. After this we booked the cab and left for Khandala. The route from Mumbai to Khandala is really great. As the cab was moving forward on the highway, the movement of the city was decreasing and the scene of mountains, waterfalls and valley filled with greenery began to appear. The cold air coming from the window was relieving the whole body. We were all enjoying the journey listening, talking and laughing in the car. Every turn of the cab was thrilling us more.

On reaching Khandala, a gust of cold air stood ready to welcome us. The natural beauty there is really fascinating the heart. Green mountains, blue sky, and small waterfalls flowing here and there were taking us in our arms. We first stopped at an view point and saw the view of the valley. Swimming of the deep valley and clouds from above, this scene was so amazing that it is difficult to describe in words. We took a lot of pictures there so that this moment can always become memorable.

Throughout the day, we enjoyed different tourist places in Khandala. Rajmachi Point, Dux Nose and Bhushi Dam were the main attractions of our journey. Especially playing with friends flowing with the water flowing in the Bhushi Dam and getting wet was like living a childhood memory again. Cold drops, laughter and constant drawing pictures of friends were making this journey special. We also tasted hot corn and tea at the local stall. Sitting on the mountains and drinking tea was a different experience in itself.

By the evening, the weather became even more pleasant. Light rain and haze further enhanced the beauty of Khandala. We all had dinner in a nearby dhaba. The atmosphere of hot eating and laughter and joking together was completely forgetting the fatigue of the day. Such moments spent with friends become the most memorable in life.

The next morning we went out to visit near the valley again in the morning. The rays of the sun coming from the middle of the mountains and the sound of birds created a peaceful atmosphere. We tried to live this moment peacefully and the mind felt thankful for this journey.

The time has come to return. It was not easy to leave Khandala's litigants but memories were so beautiful that they would always be in our heart. During the return from the cab to Mumbai, we were all talking about how memorable this journey was and where should we go for the next time. It was a mixed feeling to reach Vadodara by catching a flight from Mumbai. The joy of returning home and mild sadness to leave a beautiful place.

This entire journey made me realize that the time spent with friends is the really treasure. The Khandala has become a treasure of memories for me not just a tourist destination. This journey taught me that it is very important to live such moments by taking some time in the midst of the rush of life.
