Some small dinosaurs have invaded my house, it's a couple, I suspect they survived the meteor. Hehe, it would certainly be great, two Iguanas live in my house, very beautiful lizards that feed mainly on herbs, as well as flowers. I was working in the backyard of my house, doing some repairs, when suddenly some leaves fell from the avocado tree, the way they fell surprised me, so I looked up and there was an Iguana behind the other, they were feeding, so I looked for a ladder to climb the tree and thus be able to see them from closer.

Me encontraba trabajando en el patio trasero de mi casa, haciendo algunas reparaciones, cuando de pronto cayeron algunas hojas del árbol de aguacate, la forma en cayeron me sorprendieron, así que miré hacia arriba y ahí estaban, una Iguana detrás de la otra, se estaban alimentando, así que busqué una escalera para poder trepar al árbol y así poder verlas desde más cerca.

It was not easy to photograph them, they are very elusive and cunning, they use the green color of their skin very well to get lost among the leaves, several times I lost sight of them and it was only a few meters away, but like all reptiles they know very well how to use your tools. Reading about them, I learned that they have a third eye, this extra eye, although it does not look anything like the two front ones, it serves to detect possible prey and also to sense threats, I think that is why, even if I approached stealthily, they could know where he was and thus hide.

No fue fácil fotografiarlas, son muy escurridizas y astutas, utilizan muy bien el color verde de su piel para perderse entre las hojas, varias veces las perdí de vista y eso que estaba a pocos metros de distancia, pero como todo reptil saben muy bien utilizar sus herramientas. Leyendo acerca de ellas, supe que poseen un tercer ojo, este ojo extra aunque no se parece en nada a los dos frontales, les sirve para detectar posibles presar y también para sentir amenazas, creo que por eso, aunque me acercara sigilosamente ellas podían saber donde estaba y así esconderse.

I have known that iguanas can withstand falls from up to 20 meters high, I already know why they like to climb to the top of trees, when I climbed the tree I felt vertigo when looking down, so I held the cell phone well so that not fall and thus be able to see them more closely. Seeing them so close I did nothing but admire their skin and be amazed at how nature has designed each species to fulfill a role, humans are definitely outside of that perfect design.

Al verlas tan cerca no hice más que admirar su piel y asombrarme de como la naturaleza ha diseñado cada especie para cumplir un rol, definitivamente los humanos estamos fuera de ese diseño perfecto.

I think they are also in the mating season, because their behavior reflects it, for example while one goes one way, the other follows, as if they were both following the same music.

Creo que también están en época de apareamiento, porque en su conducta lo reflejan, por ejemplo mientras una se dirige hacia una parte, la otra la sigue, como si ambas siguieran la misma música.

And as I said before, in the blink of an eye they disappeared, I spent several minutes trying to locate them, even following the trail of the branches where they were, it was impossible to find them, as they remained motionless and took advantage of their green camouflage, it is difficult to locate them.

Y como dije antes, en un abrir y cerrar de ojos desaparecieron, estuve por varios minutos tratando de localizarlas, incluso siguiendo el rastro de las ramas donde estuvieron, fue imposible dar con ellas, al quedarse inmóviles y aprovechando su camuflaje de color verde, es dificil ubicarlas.
