Creamy And Rich Coffee In Sekala Coffee Shop
Hello my dear friends…
In this post, i want to share what me and my husband doing in our weekend. We had a quite a rough week with my husband’s surgery and such. So, i asked my husband to hang out during the weekend. In saturday, we were watching The Flash in the cinema and for the sunday me and my husband went to the coffee shop. I dont remember the last time we went to the coffee shop together but it must be around three weeks ago. As i’ve said in my post before, i am so into coffee lately so i miss and crave for coffee often, especiallh when my body feeling tired and my eyes feeling heavy. Here it is what me and my husband enjoyed in Sekala coffee shop we’ve found near our house.
This is my drink, my coffee. Like usual, i asked for the barista recommendation before ordering. Since my stomach is not in a best condition, i’ve asked for a coffee that was not too strong. The barista recommend me this and this is actuallu their signature coffee since its named after their coffee shop. The name of this coffee shop is Sekala. This is one of the most rich and creamy coffee that i’ve ever tasted. I like that rather than using milk, they’ve used cream in here. I dont quite undestand what cream that they used, though but in fact this is the second coffee i had in this cuty using cream rather than milk. I have never found it in another city yet. Also, rather than sugar or palm sugar which was the usual sweetener for the iced coffee, they opted to use honey in here. The combination between coffee, honey, and cream make this coffee become so rich in flavor and texture. Its such a delicacies.
This is my husband’s drink. My husband decided to choose the opposite of my drink so we can balanced them out. He want to have a refreshing drink with some sweet and sour in it. This is Lychee iced tea. If you can order two drink to be enjoyed together in one place, its a very good idea to buy both coffee and tea like this. The lychee tea is good but nothing special. We even thought that it was a bit overpriced for lychee tea, it was one of the most expensive lychee tea in coffee shop that i’ve ever had.
We have coffee and tea, it will not be complete with some snacks. My husband choose our snacks for the evening, which is Butter Kaya Toast. I think that it cant be seen through this pic but the bread is small and cute. They’re also not being stingy with their kaya. It is sooo good. Sadly the portion is a bit too small so me and my husband only get 1 and half each.
Lastly, this is our bill. The price of our drinks and snacks are
— Sekala Coffee 30.000 idr
— Iced Lychee Tea 30.000 idr
— Butter Kaya Toast 35.000 idr
Greetings dear friends, I hope you enjoyed unique moments enjoying a creamy and delicious coffee.
