Couroupita guianensis 🌸
Si me conoces sabes que me encantan las flores 💐 🐝 que me parecen muy hermosas y adoro tomarle fotos a cuántas me topo cada día. La más reciente ha sido esta exótica flor, del árbol llamado: Couroupita guianensis que al parecer también es conocido comotaparón.
No es la primera vez que me topo con este árbol, hace algún tiempo le conocí a pesar de siempre estar en un lugar donde eventualmente paso, está en una plaza en medio de la ciudad junto a una de las avenidas más transitadas.
En aquella ocasión no sabía ni cómo se llamaba ni nada, por lo que busque su nombre y donde suele estar. Es un árbol que es típico hacia el oriente del país.
Algo que me parece muy muy loco de este árbol es que su fruto y su flor no crece en la copa junto a las hojas 🍂, sino que crece directamente en el tronco 🪵.

If you know me, you know that I love flowers 💐 🐝. I find them very beautiful and I love taking pictures of as many as I come across every day. The most recent one was this exotic flower from a tree called Couroupita guianensis, which is also known as taparón.
This isn't the first time I've come across this tree. I saw it some time ago, even though it's always in a place where I eventually pass by. It's in a square in the middle of the city next to one of the busiest avenues.
At that time, I didn't know what it was called or anything about it, so I looked up its name and where it usually grows. It's a tree that is typical of the eastern part of the country.
Something that I find very, very crazy about this tree is that its fruit and flowers do not grow in the crown next to the leaves 🍂, but rather directly on the trunk 🪵.
