A few days ago, someone sent me a meme that basically said that if you have three cats at home, one is aggressive, another is timid, and the third is a little crazy. And, even though it sounds like a joke, it’s actually kind of true in our house.

We have three female cats, and getting them to live together has been a bit complicated—plus, I don’t think we’ve handled it perfectly. Although there haven’t been any fights where they’ve hurt each other, the timid kitten has been the most affected. So we’ve set up schedules so they can move around the house without the timid kitten running into the aggressive one.

On the other hand, the youngest one, who is the newcomer, hasn’t been as easily scared by the one who’s a bit grumpy, so they’ve learned to get along.

I took these photos a few days ago. They were taking a break after running around and chasing each other all over the house for quite a while.

That three-cat dynamic is so spot on — the aggressive, the timid, and the chaotic one really do make a perfect trio.
