BEING AN ADULT IS A CHOICE
Growing old is certain, but becoming an adult is a choice, maturity is not about how long you have lived in this world, maturity is not about age, but maturity is more about how we are wise about our lives, there are people who are younger than us but calmer, more patient, never unkind, never complains, and has a clear concept of life. And there are also people who are older than us and often get angry and unclear, always complain, are selfish and don't want to hear other people's opinions.
Again, maturity is a choice, not about how old you are, maturity is doing something according to your portion, nothing more and nothing less, maturity is when you no longer compare yourself to others, maturity is when you can make peace with yourself, maturity That's when you focus more on changing yourself instead of changing others, because if you want to change the world then the first thing you have to do is change yourself first for the better.
Being an adult is when you are able to wipe your own tears and are able to rise from adversity in your own way, and maturity is when you understand what to worry about and what not to worry about, adults are not rude when facing everything, Becoming an adult is a choice, because true maturity is peace.
Truer words have never been said. I have seen teenagers behaving more responsibly and mature than some adults. A person can be over 40 years old and still behaves like a kid, hence treated as such

Yes, that's right, there are many people who claim to be adults but their attitude doesn't reflect it.
I reflected upon this blog from you @fery, and I can say that you are right. Being an adult is a choice, and it is not about being one just because you hit a certain age. Maturity comes with adulthood. Everything will follow as well as the wisdom of being a person who can take control over their life.

Allow me to drop you a few suggestions to help you navigate better on our platform.
We have different communities on Hive and we're encouraging users to post in the right community based on the topic of the post. This post for example would fit better in Motivation community, or we also have the Self Improvement community.
OCD is for topics that don't fit in any other community and should be used when you don't find a niche community for your post.

Once you posted your post in the right community, you can then cross post it to OCD community. Here's a guide about cross posting.
