#TBT: When Gabriel met Ami Rodríguez 🧑💻📱📸❤️ [Eng-Esp Subs]
Hello Hive family and the TBT community, it is a pleasure to join you today to continue touring the places where the mind stores important memories of life and share them as stories that have transcended our path and have made us who we are today.
Today's TBT is very special for me, as it is a day where my brother and I accompanied my nephew Gabriel to meet one of his favorite Youtubers, the great Ami Rodriguez. My nephew since he arrived in Colombia with my brother (they arrived before me) began to follow this guy whose content is one of the healthiest I've seen; his audience is between children and teenagers and with his great charisma he has managed to get into the hearts of millions of followers around the world. Ami to celebrate her more than 10 million subscribers, launched a book called “Ami's Secret Diary” achieving in its first month amazing sales, obviously my nephew bought the book and said that someday he would meet Ami, but we never expected what I will tell you below.

Hola familia de Hive y de la comunidad TBT, es un gusto acompañarles hoy para seguir recorriendo los lugares en donde la mente almacena memorias importantes de la vida y así compartirlas como historias que han trascendido en nuestro camino y nos han hecho quienes somos hoy en día.
El TBT de hoy es muy especial para mi, ya que se trata de un día en donde mi hermano y yo acompañamos a mi sobrino Gabriel a conocer a uno de sus Youtubers favoritos, el gran Ami Rodriguez. Mi sobrino desde que llegó a Colombia con mi hermano (ellos llegaron antes que yo) empezó a seguir a este chico cuyo contenido es de los más sanos que he visto; su público es entre infantil y adolescentes y con su gran carisma ha sabido meterse en el corazón de millones de seguidores en todo el mundo. Ami para celebrar sus más de 10 millones de suscriptores, lanzó un libro llamado "El Diario Secreto de Ami" logrando en su primer mes unas ventas asombrosas, obviamente mi sobrino compró el libro y decía que algún día conocería a Ami, pero jamás esperábamos lo que les relataré a continuación.

Undoubtedly many of us who are dedicated to creating content, first go through Youtube, then through the other social networks and depending on how we do, we follow the goal of being viral. Before I joined Hive, for example, I made Psychology content for Instagram and Youtube and I also made music content for Instagram and Tiktok (the latter I still do); the idea was to take my content to mass consumption, but the truth is that the work of creating content requires many key elements to achieve the desired success and that is not an easy task.
The truth is that with my experience my nephew asked me to create a Youtube channel which we called “Las Gaboaventuras” and the idea was to upload content of his life and his tastes in general. We had no idea what to upload at first, but suddenly, a golden opportunity presented itself, the Youtuber Ami Rodriguez was going to appear at a meet and greet in Medellin in a busy shopping mall in the city to promote his book and sign it to those who had it and guess what, we did not want to miss that opportunity. The day arrived and early in the morning we took the subway to the place, what we never thought about was the amount of people that would be there 🙃...
Sin duda alguna muchos de los que nos dedicamos a crear contenido, primero pasamos por Youtube, luego por las demás redes sociales y dependiendo de como nos va, seguimos la meta de ser virales. Antes de yo entrar a Hive, por ejemplo, yo hacía contenido de Psicología para Instagram y Youtube y también hacía contenido musical para Instagram y Tiktok (esto último todavía lo hago); la idea era llevar mi contenido al consumo masivo, pero de verdad que el trabajo de crear contenido amerita muchos elementos claves para alcanzar el éxito deseado y eso no es tarea fácil.
Lo cierto es que con mi experiencia mi sobrino me pidió que le creara un canal de Youtube al cual le pusimos "Las Gaboaventuras" y la idea era subir contenido de su vida y sus gustos en general. No teníamos idea de que subir al principio, pero de repente, se presentó una oportunidad de oro, el Youtuber Ami Rodriguez se iba a presentar en un meet and greet en Medellín en un concurrido centro comercial de la ciudad para promocionar su libro y firmarlo a quienes lo tuvieran y adivinen qué, no quisimos perder esa oportunidad. Llegó el día y bien temprano nos fuimos en el metro para e lugar, lo que no pensamos nunca, fue en la cantidad de personas que irían 🙃...
We arrived at the place at 8 am and there were already more than 3000 people, you can imagine our faces when we saw that sea of people, however, we would not leave the place until we met our goal. While we were waiting in line we met many people, among them the main actress of a very famous movie in Colombia called “La Vendedora de Rosas” one of the most crude movies that tell the reality of many in the world of drugs and prostitution.
Without lying to you, we spent the whole day in this adventure; it rained, it was very sunny, it rained again, but nothing prevented us from moving from the line, on the other hand, many gave up the idea and left, which brought us a little further to the goal. It was 6 pm and we were very tired and far from the goal, until my brother saw a friend of his who was further ahead and called us to be with him and his children, this advanced us more than half way and therefore the happiness was great for us, because we were about to give up. The funniest thing about all this is that our turn came and my brother passed by with my nephew while I was waiting for them at the exit and between Ami's greeting, the photos and the book signing, no more than 5 minutes passed hahaha, in the video you will see that, the truth is that we met the goal and we left there almost at 11 pm, yes, you read well 😅...
Llegamos al lugar a las 8 am y habían más de 3000 personas ya, se imaginarán nuestras caras al ver ese mar de gente, sin embargo, no nos iríamos del lugar hasta cumplir el objetivo. Mientras hacíamos la fila conocimos a muchas personas, entre ellas la actriz principal de una película muy famosa en Colombia llamada "La Vendedora de Rosas" una de las películas más crudas que relatan la realidad de muchos en el mundo de las drogas y la prostitución.
Sin mentirles, estuvimos todo el día en esta aventura; llovió, hizo mucho sol, volvió a llover, pero nada impidió que nos moviéramos de la fila, por otro lado, muchos desistieron de la idea y se fueron lo que nos adelantaba un poco más a la meta. Llegaron las 6 de la tarde y estábamos muy cansados y lejos de la meta, hasta que mi hermano vio a un amigo de él que estaba más adelante y nos llamó para estar junto con él y sus hijos, esto nos adelantó más de medio camino y por ende la felicidad era grande para nosotros, porque estábamos a punto de rendirnos. Lo más chistoso de todo esto es que llegó nuestro turno y pasó mi hermano con mi sobrino mientras yo los esperaba en la salida y entre el saludo de Ami, las fotos y la firma del libro, no pasaron más de 5 minutos jajaja, en el video verán eso, lo cierto es que cumplimos el objetivo y salimos de ahí casi a las 11 de la noche, sí, leyeron bien 😅...
At the end of the day, it was all worth it and more because the joy was not only Gabriel's, it was also ours to see him smiling and more because a few months ago my brother and Gabriel's mother had divorced, a grief that was latent in them but that with this outing we managed to forget a little.
That day was rewarding, I had a great time despite the time it took us all, I did it with much love for my nephew because I missed him a lot before arriving in Medellin; after being here with him already, I promised him that I would always accompany him in his adventures and to this day, although we no longer see each other much because he lives with my brother (before he lived here with me), we are still the best friends in the galaxy and I will always thank God for that 🙏❤️.
There are still many adventures together, Gabriel's Youtube channel is inactive since that time, I'm talking about almost 5 or 6 years ago, we only uploaded 2 videos to his channel and this was one of them. Due to time issues and other factors we couldn't continue with the idea of the channel, but we always document in some way the important things we lived together 💖... Below I show you a gif I made with Ami's book and followed by a picture of Gabriel with Pelicanger, another famous Youtuber he wanted to meet and he met him in a mall while walking with his mom hehe... Al final del día, todo valió la pena y más porque la alegría no solo era de Gabriel, era de nosotros también al verlo sonreír y más porque unos meses atrás mi hermano y la mamá de Gabriel se habían divorciado, un duelo que estaba latente en ellos pero que con esa salida logramos olvidar un poco.
Ese día fue gratificante, yo la pasé muy bien pese al tiempo que nos llevó todo, lo hice con mucho amor por mi sobrino porque lo extrañé mucho antes de llegar a Medellín; luego de estar aquí con él ya, le prometí que lo acompañaría en sus aventuras siempre y hasta el día de hoy, a pesar de que ya no nos vemos mucho porque vive con mi hermano (antes vivía aquí conmigo), seguimos siendo los mejores amigos de la galaxia y siempre daré gracias a Dios por ello 🙏❤️.
Todavía hay muchas aventuras juntos, el canal de Youtube de Gabriel está inactivo desde aquel entonces, les hablo de hace casi 5 o 6 años, solo subimos 2 videos a su canal y éste era uno de ellos. Por cuestiones de tiempo y otros factores no pudimos seguir con la idea del canal, pero siempre documentamos de algún modo lo importante que vivimos juntos 💖... Abajo les muestro un gif que hice con el libro de Ami y seguido a ello, una foto de Gabriel con Pelicanger, otro Youtuber famoso que él quería conocer y lo conoció en un centro comercial mientras paseaba con su mamá jeje... Hola amorsote, que gran aventura se echaron los tres!! Este video es demasiado conmovedor por todo lo que cuentas de tu sobrino, es una situación dura para un niño. Lo genial es que está rodeado de un gran papá y tío con el que comparten grandes aventuras juntos. Sé que se divirtió mucho y pasó un día totalmente diferente.
Me alegra que el papá del amigo de Gabriel pudiera acercarlos a Ami y lograron el objetivo. Amor, la aparición de gusano en el video de Gabriel me causó mucha risa, definitivamente me encantó este TBT. Es una anécdota que merecía ser revivida.

Mi negrita hermosa, gracias por tus palabras, ciertamente era un día digno de revivir en un TBT porque fue largo y pasaron cosas geniales entre esas la de acortar distancia con Ami para conocerlo. Gabo la pasó súper, fue hermoso verlo disfrutar, cantar, sonreír y también cuando grabamos ese primer video para su canal, yo me sentía su mentor explicándole como hablar y como desenvolverse ante la cámara, la genética ayudó mucho jejeje... Gusano iba a ser Youtuber pero no lo logró jajaja prefirió salir con Gabo en Instagram en videos más personales de ellos 2 😅... Quisiera ver a Gabo reaccionando también, ojalá vea este post con mi hermano para saber sobre eso. Te amo mi vida y gracias por rockear con nosotros en este TBT tan bonito 🙏❤️...
