My Coin and Bill Collection 📸💵💱💷📈🏦💶❤️
Hello friends of Hive and this wonderful community of collectors, first of all I greet you and wish you a wonderful week full of blessings to successfully complete our days and routines. Today I bring you a collection, not so big, of coins and banknotes from different countries so that we can appreciate together their art mainly because I do not have so much historical data to do something extensive and detailed.
In the video I show you in detail each coin and banknote, they were acquired by my dad mainly in various trips he made outside Venezuela in early 2000. Here we will take a walk through some of the oldest banknotes of my country Venezuela and we will make a brief tour through South America, North America and a little bit of Europe; without further ado, make yourselves comfortable and join me in this collect-adventure.
Hola amigos de Hive y de esta maravillosa comunidad de coleccionistas, ante todo les saludo y les deseo una maravillosa semana llena de bendiciones para culminar con éxito nuestras jornadas y rutinas. El día de hoy les traigo una colección, no tan grande, de monedas y billetes de diversos países para que apreciemos juntos su arte principalmente ya que a nivel histórico no poseo tantos datos como para hacer algo extenso y detallado.
En el video les muestro a detalle cada moneda y billete, los mismos fueron adquiridos por mi papá principalmente en diversos viajes que realizó fuera de Venezuela a inicios del año 2000. Aquí haremos un paseo por algunos de los billetes más antiguos de mi país Venezuela y haremos un recorrido breve por Suramérica, Norteamérica y un pedacito de Europa; sin más que decir, pónganse bien cómodos y acompáñenme en esta collect-aventura.
One of the main reasons I had to make this post, is that a few days ago I went to change some dollars to Colombian pesos in an exchange house and I saw that they buy old bills to have them as a collection, so I asked if one of these days they could attend me to review the bills and coins to see how much I can get for them, let's see what happens since they told me yes. In the first row of coins from top to bottom, we have quarters and a dollar coin itself; in the second row Euro cents and in the third row a 10 cent coin and a Euro coin. In the video I put the year of each coin so that you have an idea of how long they have been in circulation. They are very nice coins with spectacular art on them.
Una de las razones principales que tuve para hacer este post, es que hace unos días fui cambiar unos dólares a pesos colombianos en una casa de cambio y vi que compran billetes antiguos para tenerlos de colección, así que pregunté si un día de estos me podían atender para revisar los billetes y monedas para ver cuanto puedo obtener por ellos, vamos a ver que ocurre ya que me dijeron que si. En la primera fila de monedas de arriba hacia abajo, tenemos cuartos de dólar y una moneda de dólar propiamente; en la segunda fila céntimos de Euros y en la tercera una moneda de 10 centavos de dólar y una de un Euro. En el video les coloco el año de cada moneda para que más o menos tengan idea del tiempo que tienen en circulación. Son monedas muy bonitas con un arte espectacular en ellas.
As many of you know, I am Venezuelan, only I have almost 7 years living in Colombia and that is why I will first show you bills that I keep from my childhood (I am 41 years old 😁). All these bills represent the best time of the economy of my country; to give you an example, with the 20 Bolivar or 50 Bolivar bill, I could eat for several days at school, those were my weekly allowances, and later the 100 bill was part of that day to day so you can imagine how long that money lasted me. When the 1000 and 5000 Bolivar bills appeared it was crazy, whoever carried them in his pocket was prosperous and with those sums of money you could toast your friends at school hehe.
Como muchos saben, yo soy venezolano, solo que tengo casi 7 años viviendo en Colombia y es por ello que primero les mostraré billetes que conservo desde mi infancia (tengo 41 años 😁). Todos estos billetes representan la mejor época de la economía de mi país; para ponerles un ejemplo, con el billete de 20 Bolívares o de 50 Bolívares, podía comer por varios días en el colegio, esas eran mis mesadas semanales, ya después el billete de 100 formó parte de ese día a día así que se imaginarán lo que me duraba ese dinero. Cuando aparecen los billetes de 1000 y 5000 Bolívares era la locura, quien los llevaba en su bolsillo eran prósperos y ya con esas sumas de dinero se podía brindar a los amigos en el colegio jeje.
For those knowledgeable in the matter, here we could enter into strong debates on the value of the Bolivar in my country, however, I will not fall into political issues because we have already had many difficulties because of it among us Venezuelans. These banknotes represent the (momentary) rise and total debacle of the Bolivar as a currency, something very sad obviously and which currently has very severe consequences in the pockets of my compatriots. There is no denying that the bills are a work of art in their aesthetics and coloring, but they are useless at this moment, I will keep them for myself because any exchange house laughs when one shows these bills (yes, just as you read).
Para los entendidos en la materia, aquí podríamos entrar en debates fuertes sobre el valor del Bolívar en mi país, sin embargo, no caeré en temas políticos porque ya hemos tenido muchas dificultades por ello entre nosotros los venezolanos. Estos billetes representan el ascenso (momentáneo) y debacle total del Bolívar como moneda, algo muy triste obviamente y que actualmente tiene consecuencias muy severas en el bolsillo de mis compatriotas. No hay que negar que los billetes son una obra de arte en su estética y colorido, pero no sirven para nada en este momento, estos los conservaré para mi porque cualquier casa de cambio se ríe cuando uno muestra estos billetes (sí, así como leen).
To change the mood a bit with respect to the above, in this photo we can see Peruvian banknotes that I don't know if they are still valid (I will ask my friends @musicandreview, @dinaaczib and @audiarmisg for help to find out). Then we have a thousand Italian lira bill, a 20 Colombian peso note and a 20 and a 50 Mexican peso note (in this case I will consult the great @eddiespino or @gr33nm4ster to find out if they are still valid).
As icing on the cake I leave as the last one the most coveted banknote or currency on the planet, the US dollar. I currently own 2 of this bill and as is well known, it is the currency that generates more discord in the world for many reasons hehe. To give you another idea, a dollar is equivalent to almost 5 thousand Colombian pesos at the moment, with that you can pay a ticket on the subway or buy an empanada for breakfast. At some point I had other bills and coins (Ecuador, Bolivia, Brazil) but I sold them; a few days ago I saw here in the community a coin from Japan, it looked spectacular and if we talk in general about bills and coins, they all represent the history of each country and how each one evolves over time. Saving this historical material for me has been very cool and I hope to be able to expand this collection even though soon there are probabilities that they are no longer with me (except for the banknotes of my country).

Para cambiar un poco el ánimo con respecto a lo dicho anteriormente, en esta foto podemos ver billetes de Perú que no sé si siguen vigentes (pediré ayuda a mis amigos @musicandreview, @dinaaczib y @audiarmisg para saberlo). Luego tenemos un billete de mil liras Italianas, uno de 20 pesos colombianos y uno de 20 y otro de 50 pesos mexicanos (en este caso consultaré a los grandes @eddiespino o a @gr33nm4ster para saber si son billetes vigentes todavía).
Como cereza del pastel dejo como último el billete o la moneda más codiciada del planeta, el dólar americano. De este billete poseo 2 actualmente y como bien se sabe, es la moneda que más discordia genera en el mundo por muchos motivos jeje. Para que tengan otra idea, un dólar equivale a casi 5 mil pesos colombianos en este momento, con eso puedes pagar un pasaje en el metro o comprar una empanada para desayunar. En algún momento llegué a tener otros billetes y monedas (Ecuador, Bolivia, Brasil) pero las vendí; hace unos días vi aquí en la comunidad una moneda de Japón, lucía espectacular y es que si hablamos en general de los billetes y monedas, todos representan la historia de cada país y la forma en como cada uno evoluciona en el tiempo. Guardar este material histórico para mi ha sido muy genial y espero poder ampliar más esta colección pese a que pronto hay probabilidades de que ya no estén más conmigo (menos los billetes de mi país).

That's a very nice collection of banknotes that you have! Btw. The idea of recording the video and taking photos before selling some of them is brilliant! At least, you will have some nice memories of the banknotes you had if you sell some... 😉

Impresionante que conserves cada uno de esos primeros billetes que conocimos en nuestra infancia en los noventas en Venezuela. Vaya que ese dinero valía. Aquí entre nos ya casi había olvidado el de 5000, que bueno que lo muestres aquí. Los otros billetes que compartes de la moneda de aquí no me dan ningún tipo de emoción, representa muchas cosas que no me gustan 😞 Gracias por compartir tu genialidad hermano, buen trabajo...
Mi Brooo querido, bueno empezando por lo segundo, esos billetes los tengo pero a la vez no los quiero jajajaja pero quien quite que algún día valgan algo a manera de colección... Los primeros billetes ufff con eso uno hacía mini mercados de chucherías y uno desayunaba genial en el colegio, fue la mejor época de la economía aunque algunos lo nieguen jeje. Esta es una maravillosa colección, una montaña rusa de recuerdos vienen a mi mente viendo esos bolívares antiguos, compré muchas golosinas de niño con esos billetes 😄.
Y si, billete de 10 soles sigue vigente, pero es difícil verlos, poco a poca van desapareciendo. Gracias por compartir bro!
