The first family wedding party

Getting together with family and friends should be something family do time to time, either during festive period or planned vacation but the case has never been like that with my mom side of the family. The only memories I have of them was when I was still very little and since I was an adult, I haven’t had spent any time with my cousins, my aunts or uncles. I only get to see them on social media but all this changed when it was time for my cousin to get married.

I don’t need to tell you who the groom his right?😅 he is the one in the middle with a different attire. He is the first son to my uncle who is the first son of my maternal grandfather, my mom elder brother.

The planning of the wedding was a big deal because I have never since my mom family come together once to plan something. Most of the time, they are always talking on the phone, I grew up with my cousin from my dad side visiting us while I visit them too but my mom was against us visiting her family. Although, I and my cousins are always in contacts with each other on the phone and other social media platforms. I only know most of them through phone, we communicate a lot but the wedding changed everything. I met my uncles and aunties, family and friends I never believe I would met again. Here comes the pictures

These are my uncles and their wife. The one on red cap is the father of the groom while the other one is the younger brother to him. They look alike so much I sometime think they are twin.

This is the bride, before the wedding I was invited by my cousin to spend some weeks with him so I can help him with the planning, I used two weeks and that’s the longest I have spent with any of my cousins from my mom side. His bride do come around sometimes and the little time I have spent with her were blissful. She’s so nice, laughs a lot and a good cook. I can never forget her cookings.

This is my mom and her sisters. From the left, that’s our big mom. The eldest lady in the family, then my sister(I wonder why she was in the picture with them) then my Aunty, follow by mom, then we have the last lady in the house. She’s also my Aunty too. She looks so young.

Here is I and my dad, the man I respected so much. I so much love him because he has been a dad and a father to all of us. He was made father of the day because of his impact on both said of the family.

Everyone in this picture are family. It was a great day for the family, it was time to bond, reconnect and build our friendship and relationship. There are some other pictures I have that will forever remain good memories.

Family should always remain in connect with each other because if the world turn against you, your family will always remain by your side, that’s what I believe because that’s what my dad taught us. I hope you enjoyed viewing the pictures and reading what I have to say.
