In this round 141 of the PhotoFeed: Black&white Photography contest.
This is a photo of the atmosphere inside the market building where I work.

Only a few shops are open, while most of the others remain closed—not because they haven’t opened yet, but because they are permanently closed.

You can feel it from the nearly empty scene, with almost no visitors, even though this photo was taken around 9:30 in the morning, a time when shops would normally have been open since around 7 a.m.
Through these photos, we can sense how the economy is becoming more difficult, yet there are still a few who continue to survive and keep going.
