HAPPY HUMP DAY!!

Today I woke up and was ready to go for my work out! I was thinking today was my “twig builder” as Wes says.. HA! Biceps and Triceps, but I was wrong. Today I built my shoulders…and WHOOO WEE it was a tough one! In December when we had our Tonal installed, I was skeptical and honestly a little upset that we were spending so much money on something we had no idea would be good for our family or not. Then we all got sick and I was sure this thing was gonna go to waste. Once I was all recovered and feeling better, I did my first real Tonal workout at the end of January. 20 in 20 Ignite by the one and only Tony Horton. It was such a great introduction into the Tonal world, and quickly opened my eyes to what was possible!

Fast forward a few weeks and I was seeing little muscle lines, had better mobility, and was stronger just lifting cases of water bottles. I was HOOKED! I made it a goal to fill in my tracking sheet (digital on their app) every single day. I am proud to say that since February I have filled in each and every single day of the month doing something on the Tonal (except one day last month). This machine has everything possible to keep your mind and body strong, and we all have utilized it!

This morning I woke up, made some food cause this girl was HUNGRY, and stepped outside to take a view of the beautiful welcoming of the morning. Took a deep breath and thanked the universe for another day to be here. I ate my breakfast and headed downstairs to get my workout going. Pushed that button and started going (this is when I found out it was shoulder day).

It amazes me how strong and lean my body is getting! Our progress is “slower” than others because we are still eating whatever we want.. HA! But, the progress is there and I have gone from a size 14-16 US Womens, to an 8-10 US Womens. I have lost and maintained roughly 15 lbs, and gained who knows how much in muscle. I am extremely proud of myself and all the effort I have been able to put in, despite deaths in the family, surgery, more deaths, and just every day stress… I am committed. I am committed to myself, to my husband, to my children, and to our future grandbabies! I want a beautiful healthy future, where I can be active and mobile for years to come! I can’t wait to see where we are a year from now!

Have a great day! Find some way to honor yourself today (even if it’s basic self-care) you can do it!!

Tracking your transformation is a great way you encourage yourself, no matter how long the process lasts. 💪🏼
