How I was rewarded for my dedication and commitment over the weekend

It was indeed a moment of reflection for me over the weekend that life is worth living for by our selfless sacrifices and contributions to a better society. It was our annual general meeting of the society I belonged to as a professional where colleagues gathered from far and near to evaluate the year and plan for the next. It was my singular honour to be present in this gathering and awarded a certificate of service for a meritorious contribution on a project of professional awareness whereby we reached out to selected Secondary Schools and enlightened these bright students on career choice and how they too can better their family & society. The program was a success as I was part of the anchors and this effort was recognised and duely appreciated.

I was called on to start the Saturday gathering with an opening prayer and also to give an award to one of the outgoing exco's who is handing over to a new exco after a well contested election.
I also gave an advise/counsel on how to better of the society and we individuals and this was well appreciated and cherished.
It was also a joyful moment in which we I was able to see old classmates, new colleagues and also a period of winning and dinning together as sumptous meal was served to everyone who attended this gathering.

Also, such a gathering also reminds me of the place of providing good leadership as accountability is key as a leader and been visionary is key aswell.
The event was a memorable one as different sets of pictures were taken which and various gists, side talks etc were done at the end of the programme.
It's indeed a great weekend for me and I really enjoyed every bit of my weekend.
I believe it's worth reading, right?
