Hello everyone @throwbackthursday community, I'm @fab-tay and i welcome us all to yet another throwback thursday once again 🕺and it's always a delight to relieve the memories of great moments of the past. Also, i want to commend the administrator of this group @jesuslnrs and other team members for all their efforts week in, week out. This week, my throwback will be on a medical outreach to a rural area.

Hola a todos, comunidad de @throwbackthursday, soy @fab-tay y les doy la bienvenida a todos a otro jueves de retroceso una vez más 🕺 y siempre es un placer aliviar los recuerdos de grandes momentos del pasado. Además, quiero felicitar al administrador de este grupo @jesuslnrs y a otros miembros del equipo por todos sus esfuerzos semana tras semana. Esta semana, mi recuerdo será sobre una extensión médica a una zona rural.

One of the memorable thing to do is to reach out those who are in dire need of a help. Rural dwellers don't have sufficient healthcare coverage and the more reason organising and reaching out to them is a good adventure. Medical outreach has always been a part of me even right from my undergraduate days where i have by privilege coordinated many. This particular outreach was held this year to this rural area in my state of residence in Nigeria. Health awareness/talk, checking of vital signs, consultations and dispensing of medications were done free of charge courtesy of a philanthropic group in partnership with we Association of Community Pharmacist which I'm a member and an executive.

Una de las cosas más memorables es llegar a aquellos que necesitan ayuda con urgencia. Los habitantes de las zonas rurales no tienen suficiente cobertura sanitaria y, con mayor razón, organizarse y llegar a ellos es una buena aventura. La extensión médica siempre ha sido parte de mí, incluso desde mis días de estudiante, donde por privilegio he coordinado a muchos. Este alcance en particular se llevó a cabo este año en esta zona rural de mi estado de residencia en Nigeria. Las charlas/concientización sobre la salud, el control de los signos vitales, las consultas y la dispensación de medicamentos se realizaron de forma gratuita, cortesía de un grupo filantrópico en asociación con nuestra Asociación de Farmacéuticos Comunitarios, de la que soy miembro y ejecutivo.

This week's throwback thursday shows the importance of love and passion in reaching out to those in need. It shows the need to be concerned about other's welfare and quality of life hereby contributing to national development as opportunity and capacity affords. El retroceso de esta semana del jueves muestra la importancia del amor y la pasión para llegar a los necesitados. Muestra la necesidad de preocuparse por el bienestar y la calidad de vida de los demás, contribuyendo así al desarrollo nacional según lo permitan las oportunidades y la capacidad.
