In my last post I shared with you the introduction of my Erasmus adventure. You know how tiring and exhausting it was.
If you ask if your erasmus process was always bad and tiring, of course not. During this process, I had the opportunity to visit many European cities, so I thought why not share them with you.
There are many communities here and I am a member of some of them, although travel articles are the first ones I read, other communities also attract my attention. I will share my travel articles with you in this post and in other series. Undoubtedly @pinmapple is one of the most suitable places for this.
Let's continue with the first post of the series, the city of Walbrzych.
Actually, I would like to continue with photos from the city, but since it is not a very big and developed place, I will talk about Zamek Castle, which I visited there. It was one of my favorite places to visit during my stay in Walbrzych.

ZAMEK CASTLE
Let me give you a brief information about the castle.
It is a 500-year-old castle in the city of Walbrzych. It was built in the 13th century by Bolko I, prince of Swidnica and Jawor. It has been destroyed, rebuilt or repaired many times until today. It has been home to many people throughout history. Between 1509 and 1941 it was used by the local government. During this period, many architectural changes were made in the castle, especially the baroque style wing was added during this period. In 1941 the castle was occupied by the Nazis, used as a headquarters and heavily vandalized. Tunnels were dug by the Germans under many sections and the architectural structure was battered. Immediately after the Germans, the Russian Red Army captured the castle and used it for military purposes and it became more of a fortress. During the war, the castle lost many of its features. But despite all this, it still has many things to see. Especially the magnificent restored halls are a must-see architecturally. Since 1962 it has been under the protection of the local Monuments Protection Board. It is privately owned and can be visited as a museum. Baroque style

When we visited, the castle looked so lively and beautiful that it was as if it was still in use in the 13th century. The restoration had really kept it standing and it was a beautiful sight for the visitors.

It was very magnificent with its green areas and architecture. When we saw it, we were wondering which prince or princess lived there and how they dressed.

I don't think the vines wrapping around the outside of the castle existed at that time, but when we saw it, we liked it very much, and my friend even said with a bit of imagination that he wished that vines like that could grow from the outside of our houses. But my other friend, who was a little more realistic, unfortunately took him out of his dream world by saying 'no, if that were the case, snakes and insects would enter the house very easily'. Generally, there is someone like this in every friend circle.

When we entered the castle, the portraits hanging on the wall belonged to the people who lived there. It was a very strange feeling to see the faces of important people who lived in those times, to know that the castle we were walking through was their home, to know that the things still standing in the house were theirs. That's when we once again encountered the strangeness of the feeling of death.

The pajamas hanging on the wall were as new and clean as the first day, really well preserved. Also, my fashionista side made me think that it was a model that was still in use and even that it was the pajamas that the iconic character 'Gaffur' in a Turkish TV series (Avrupa Yakası) always wore and made me laugh in a ridiculous way.

The wax sculptures were so realistic that they seemed to come to life and suddenly go to war.

The garden layout and cleanliness of the castle showed that the people working there were really doing their job well.

When I found this beautiful place, I learned about its history and took lots of photos so that I could remember it years later.

Geçen postumda erasmus maceramın girişini sizlerle de paylaşmıştım. Ne kadar yorucu ve yıpratıcı bir süreç olduğunu biliyorsunuz.
Hep kötü ve yorucu mu geçti erasmus sürecin derseniz, tabi ki hayır. Bu süreç boyunca birçok Avrupa şehri gezme imkanı buldum. Ben de neden bunları sizle paylaşmayayım ki dedim.
Burada birçok topluluk var ben de bazılarına üyeyim , genelde gezi yazıları ilk sırada okuduklarım olsa da diğer topluluklar da fazlasıyla ilgimi çekiyor. Ben de bu postumda ve diğer serilerinde gezi yazılarımı sizlerle paylaşacağım. Şüphesiz @pinmapple bunun için en uygun yerlerden birisi.

Aslında şehirden fotoğraflarla devam etmek isterdim ama fazla büyük ve gelişmiş bir yer olmadığı için orada gitmiş olduğum Zamek Kalesinden bahsedicem. Walbryzch’de kaldığım süre boyunca gezmekten en çok hoşlandığım beni içine çeken yerlerdendi.
ZAMEK KALESİ
Kale hakkında sizlere kısa bilgi vereyim önce.
Walbrzych kentinde 500 yıllık bir şatodur. 13. yüzyılda Swidnica ve Jawor prensi I. Bolko tarafından yaptırılmıştır. Günümüze kadar çok defa yıkılmış, yeniden yapılmış veya onarım görmüştür. Tarih boyunca birçok kişiye ev sahipliği yapmıştır. 1509 - 1941 tarihleri arasında yerel yönetim tarafından kullanılmıştır. Bu dönemde şatoda birçok mimari değişiklik yapılmış özellikle barok tarzı kanat yine bu dönemde eklenmiştir. 1941 de şato Naziler tarafından işgal edilmiş, karargâh olarak kullanılmış ve yüksek derecede tahrip edilmiştir. Almanlar tarafından birçok bölümün altına tüneller kazılmış mimari yapı hırpalanmıştır. Almanlardan hemen sonra yapıyı ele geçiren Rus Kızıl Ordusu yine askeri amaçlı kullandıkları için şato daha çok kale halini almıştır. Savaş boyunca olan şatoya olmuş birçok özelliğini yitirmiştir. Fakat tüm bunlara rağmen hala görülecek pek çok şeye sahiptir. Özellikle restore edilmiş muhteşem salonları mimari açıdan görülmesi gereken bölümleridir. 1962 yılından bu yana yerel Anıtlar Koruma Kurulu korumasındadır. Özel mülkiyet altındadır, müze olarak gezilebilir. Barok tarzdadır.

Biz gittiğimizde şato o kadar canlı ve güzel görünüyordu ki sanki hala 13.yy’da kullanılan bir yer gibiydi. Gerçekten yapılan restore fazlasıyla orayı ayakta tutmuş ve ziyaretçilere güzel bir görsel sunmaktaydı.

Yeşil alanları , mimarileriyle fazlasıyla ihtişamlıydı. Orayı görünce kim bilir hangi prens ya da prenses burada yaşamıştır, nasıl giyiniyorlardır gibi sorular aklımızdaydı.

Kalenin dışından dolanan sarmaşıklar o zamanlarda var mıydı sanmıyorum ama biz gördüğümüzde fazla beğenmiştik hatta arkadaşım keşke bizim evlerin dışından da böyle sarmaşık uzansa demişti biraz hayalcilikle. Ama biraz daha gerçekçi olan diğer arkadaşım da ‘hayır öyle olsa yılanlar, böcekler eve çok kolay girer’ diyerek onu hayal dünyasından çıkarmıştı maalesef. Genelde her arkadaş ortamında böyle akılcı birileri olur.

Kalenin içine girdiğimizde duvarda asılı olan portreler orada yaşayan insanlara aitti. O zamanlarda yaşamış önemli kişilerin yüzlerini görmek, o an bizim yürüğümüz kalenin onların evi olduğunu bilmek, evin içindeki hala duran eşyaların onların olduğunu bilmek çok garip bir histi. İşte o zaman bir kez daha ölüm duygusunun tuhaflığıyla karşılaştık.

Duvarda asılı olan pijama sanki ilk günkü gibi yeni ve temizdi gerçekten çok güzel korunmuştu. Bir de modaya düşkün olan yanım bunun hala kullanılan bir model olduğunu hatta tv’de yayınlanan bir Türk dizisinde(Avrupa Yakası) ikonik bir karakter olan ‘Gaffur’ tiplemesinin sürekli giydiği pijama olduğunu düşündürüp beni orada saçma bir şekilde güldürdü.

Bal mumundan yapılmış heykeller o kadar gerçekçiydi ki sanki canlanıp birden savaşa gidecek gibiydiler.

Kalenin bahçe düzeni ve temiz oluşu orada çalışan insanların gerçekten işini güzel yaptığının göstergesiydi.
Ben de bu güzel yeri bulunca hem tarihi hakkında bir şeyler öğrenip hem de yıllar sonra hatıra kalsın diye bol bol fotoğraf çektirdim.
