Ustyuzhna. Introduction
Ustyuzhna is a town in the southwestern part of the Vologda region and a district center. It is located from the regional center in 244 km.
This town is old, has a rich history, and I have long wanted to visit. And not in vain.
In short, Ustyuzhna is a small town, with a central historical part and ordinary districts, both with brick apartment buildings and the private sector.
There are churches here, the Mologa River flows, and there is also a smaller river - Vorozha.
Just one description already makes you want to visit here.
And I've even been here twice! This third, but real!
The first two were very hard at work, so much so that I didn’t even have time to roughly feel the atmosphere of the city.
Although I remember all the places where I was ...
And this time I walked around the most interesting places not only twice, but even three times!
Looking ahead, I will say that I am impressed, amazed, surprised and discouraged!
Although, what have I not seen in such towns? Yes, there is just a sea of similar ones ... But the atmosphere is different for everyone and not everyone can feel it.
If a person does not know how to feel the place, then the town will seem ordinary to him, of which there are a dime a dozen in the golden ring!
But I can "understand" even ordinary workers' settlements, what can I say about Ustyuzhna!
There are rivers, and antiquity, and wooden houses, and cozy streets, and bridges.
I just got out of the car and the stories just flowed like a river.
I want to speak directly in metaphors. But this is just an introduction.
To be continued...
