Rainy diptych

It very rarely happens to me that I can't choose one photo out of two. I usually always know exactly what I want. In the reporting wave, I have trained myself in a tough and ruthless selection of images. In general, I have already made a choice in favor of the second frame, but still I cannot ignore the first one.

The sculpture "Courier" was installed in Vologda in December 2025. Walkers-couriers were peasants who were sent to intercede with someone about something. They were the link between the countryside and the city, between the traditional way of life and the new order. An art object near the city administration depicts a male walker who reflects on the book "Code of Laws".
