Rainstorm in Vologda

A couple of years ago, it already happened – there was a heavy downpour in Vologda and the streets were flooded. I've already filmed similar cataclysms, but this time I hit the peak and it was in the place that I couldn't capture all the years.

Vologda was hit by a powerful thunderstorm, and with it heavy rain.

According to tradition, the storm drains could not cope with such a volume of water and the streets in many areas were flooded.

I have always failed to capture Leningrad Street, which is flooded most often.

And I even managed to overcome this terrible ford in own car, where many cars could not cope.

For the first time, I saw not just water instead of asphalt, but the movement of water, as if it were a river.

If only I had the opportunity to instantly be anywhere in the city, I would be able to make a good photo essay!

But I was able to capture exactly the street that most often suffers from heavy rains.

Such an element needs to be captured in time, since the water still goes away and quite quickly.

And sometimes it's just a combination of circumstances (or luck) when you find yourself right here and now.

...There were a lot of thunderstorms at the beginning of the summer, but for some reason I think this one was the final one.

And I want more! It is possible with showers – when else will there be such a wonderful reason to enjoy the elements to the fullest!

It may sound cynical, but I love it. The main thing is that there are no casualties!

And if someone's car is flooded...Well, they probably should have foreseen this and looked for a detour. After all, not all the streets were in the water.
