Moonlit night over Vologda

Night landscape photography is those genre that I dreamed of at the very beginning of my photographic journey! I started and studied classical urban and natural landscapes, but from the very first frames I was drawn to the dark time of the day.

During my experience there were few losses, but still there were cases. Once I was shooting on black and white film at night. It was the first experience. I gave film to a color photo lab, where it was developed incorrectly. All pictures are gone.

But I will remember them in my head forever, like that atmosphere.

What I'm doing now is just beyond my dreams of the past. After all, I still keep those old collections of saved photographs of other photographers that I looked up to.

And now I can more than boldly say that I have outgrown them in all plans!

I could collect it all, show it, compare it, but it will be interesting for two and a half people. And I know for sure that I need to shoot and write, and not be distracted by such trifles. Otherwise I'll feel bad...
