Greetings, dear readers, today I give life and love to my blog ❤️ with enthusiasm and joy, reflecting one of the Christmas anecdotes felt and experienced in recent days.
Es la ZARAGOZA del Estado Lara si señor… para esta época decidí amenizar mi fin de año laboral 2022 con esta divertida y colorida manifestación la cual también es conocida como los locos y locaínas, según nuestro calendario festivo se exhibe el 28 de diciembre en conmemoración a los “Santos inocentes”, haciendose referencia a lo que se describe históricamente sobre el exterminio ordenado por Herodes quien mando a ejecutar a todos los bebés del pueblo, sabiendo que entre ellos tendría a su sucesor que luego fue conocido como Jesús.
It is the ZARAGOZA of the State of Lara, yes sir... for this time I decided to liven up my end of the 2022 working year with this fun and colorful manifestation, which is also known as locos y locaínas, according to our festive calendar, it is exhibited on December 28 in commemoration to the "Innocent Saints", referring to what he historically describes about the extermination ordered by Herod who ordered the execution of all the babies of the town, knowing that among them he would have his successor who later became known as Jesus.
Por tanto la manifestación posee un sentido religioso que con el paso del tiempo ha tenido diferentes versiones y representaciones según los pueblos donde se conmemora.
Therefore the demonstration has a religious meaning that over time has had different versions and representations depending on the towns where it is commemorated.
Los personajes con vestimentas estrafalarias o coloridas dispuestos con máscaras, son la representación de las madres enloquecidas por el dolor tras la muerte de sus hijos “los inocentes”, pero también hay versiones de que esta manifestación tiene origen medieval más centrados en las fiestas carnestolendas.
The characters with outlandish or colorful clothing arranged with masks, are the representation of mothers crazed by pain after the death of their children "the innocent", but there are also versions that this demonstration has a medieval origin more focused on the carnival festivities.
Lo cierto es que esta manifestación llegó para quedarse en el ideario colectivo y tradicional venezolano del que algunos hacen uso por sus creencias para cumplir promesas y otros por diversión y cultura general como mi caso. Vivimos en un país de libre cultural y culto por tanto cuando se trata de llevar esto a la escuela, lo hago dando a conocer lo relevante dejando sea el niño que destaque sus propias ideas y gusto.
The truth is that this demonstration came to stay in the collective and traditional Venezuelan ideology that some make use of for their beliefs to keep promises and others for fun and general culture as in my case. We live in a culturally free and cultured country, so when it comes to bringing this to school, I do it by disclosing what is relevant, letting the child highlight his own ideas and taste.
Para montar el trabajo de la Zaragoza lo hice un mes antes después de conversar con los niños solicitandoles la investigación del tema, luego cité a los representantes de los niños que se interesaron en participar y les mostré todo el proceso de la elaboración tanto del traje como de las máscaras.
To assemble the work of the Zaragoza, I did it a month before, after talking with the children and asking them to investigate the subject, I summoned the representatives of the children who were interested in participating, and I showed them the entire process of making both the costume As for the masks.
Algunos apenas al obsérvalo estuvieron en desacuerdo que sus hijos participaran alegando el trasfondo sombrío de la manifestación siendo también para ellos muy complicada la confección, detallando la falta de tiempo para realizarlo.
Some barely upon observing it disagreed that their children participated, alleging the gloomy background of the demonstration, making it very complicated for them, detailing the lack of time to carry it out.
Otros representantes se abocaron a realizar los trajes de sus hijos autorizando su participación como parte de su cultura general. Los niños que tuvieron el consentimiento de sus padres, ensayamos los pasos básicos de la manifestación, acompañandome muy contentos en el mes de diciembre, durante la bajada de Pacheco (personajes simbólico que anuncia la llegada del frío decembrino a Caracas) y el día de la parranda escolar.
Other representatives were approached to make their children's costumes, authorizing their participation as part of their general culture. The children who had the consent of their parents, rehearsed the basic steps of the demonstration, accompanying me very happily in the month of December, during the descent of Pacheco (symbolic characters that announce the arrival of the December cold in Caracas) another on the day from the school party.
También hace rato vengo trabajando con los niños actividades de expresión corporal concentradas en danza circulares, esto es un tipo de danza tradicional de la cultura Celta que ha ido tocando muchos países con el sentido de celebrar la vida, naturaleza y humanidad.
I have also been working for a while with the children on bodily expression activities focused on circular dance, this is a type of traditional dance from Celtic culture, and it has touched many countries with the sense of celebrity of life, nature and humanity.
Para niños se realizan con juegos que les permiten desarrollar su motricidad gruesa integrando la percepción espacial y no menos importante estas danzas despiertan la empatía, solidaridad, paz y posibilidades de integración armónica con su contexto.
To children are performed with games that allow them to develop their gross motor skills integrating spatial perception and not least these dances awaken empathy, solidarity, peace and possibilities of harmonious integration with their context.
En este sentido siendo la docente de cultura vi propicio para este fin de año integrar estas danzas circulares dentro del cronograma de navidad, entonces propuse a mis colegas realizáramos tres danzas para el cierre de la actividad después que los Zaragoza bailaran.
In this sense, being the culture teacher, I saw it propitious for this end of the year to integrate these circular dances into the Christmas schedule, so I proposed to my colleagues that we perform three dances to close the activity after the Zaragozas danced.
En efecto lo logramos contando con el apoyo del consejo comunal, padres, representantes y personas de la comunidad quienes nos dotaron de un buen audio y espacio para llevar a cabo la actividad donde después de las parradas navideñas y la participación de los Zaragozas, dos escuelas se integraron haciendo por primera vez una mega danza circular guiada por mi persona con el apoyo de una de mis compañeras de trabajo.
In effect, we achieved it with the support of the community council, parents, representatives and people from the community who provided us with good audio and space to carry out the activity where after the Christmas parades and the participation of the Zaragozas, two schools they joined doing for the first time a mega circular dance guided by me with the support of one of my co-workers.
Realmente fue hermoso lo que sentí al ver a todos los presentes involucrados en ese momento de armonía colectiva, todos éramos uno en varios círculos, expresando entre risas nuestras habilidades, posibilidades corporales y conciencia espacial. Lo más bellos fue ver a los padres y maestros alegres junto a los niños integrados en una danza armónica que les dió la posibilidad de reencontrarse en la víspera de navidad.
What I felt was really beautiful when I saw everyone present involved in that moment of collective harmony, we were all one in several circles, expressing our abilities, body possibilities and spatial awareness between laughs. The most beautiful thing was seeing the happy parents and teachers together the children integrated into a harmonic dance that gave them the opportunity to meet again on Christmas Eve.
