Saludos apreciados lectores hoy doy vida y amor a mi blog 🥰 con una serie de fotos que capté bajo un estado de grata sorpresa recibida tras un encuentro cultural que me trajo buenas nuevas para tener que contar… Al llegar al pueblo de Todasana Estado la Guaira - Venezuela, junto a mis compañeros de percusión descargamos el equipaje con lo que amenizaríamos un evento cultura que allí se presentaría el Día de San José 19 de marzo de 2023.
Greetings, dear readers, today I give life and love to my blog 🥰 with a series of photos that I captured under a state of pleasant surprise received after a cultural encounter that brought me good news to have to tell... Upon arriving in the town of Todasana, La Guaira State- Venezuela, along to my percussion partners we unloaded the luggage with which we would liven up a cultural event that would be presented there on Saint Joseph's Day, March 19, 2023.
Yo típica citadina al llegar a un pueblo lo primero que busco de hacer es aclimatarme, ya que suelo marear en los viajes terrestres pasando muchas cosas en mi organismo. En este día sorpresivamente no tuve mucha turbulencia y me sentí con relativo equilibrio, entre el ruido y la gente poco a poco observaba y escuchaba el entorno y justamente en la plazoleta detrás de nuestro equipaje de tambores, escuché la hermosa risa de unos pequeños que captaron mi atención de inmediato.
For me, a typical city dweller, when I arrive in a town, the first thing I seek to do is acclimatize, since I usually get dizzy on land trips, many things happen in my body. On this day, surprisingly, I did not have much turbulence and I felt in relative balance, between the noise and the people, little by little I observed and listened to the environment, and right in the small square behind our drum kit, I heard the beautiful laughter of some children who captured my attention immediately.
Jugaban felices dentro de un caldero gigante ¡asombroso!, primera vez que veía tal utensilio y no dude en retratarlo desde varios ángulos con ellos adentro, invitándolos a que me regalaran miradas escondidas o su hermosa sonrisa.
They were playing happily inside the giant cauldron, amazing! It was the first time I had seen such a utensil and I did not hesitate to photograph it from various angles with them inside, inviting them to give me hidden glances or their beautiful smile.
Después que se cansaron se fueron, no me aguanté, para empezar a buscar entre la gente sabia del pueblo el origen de caldero o paila. Una lugareña me comento que ese era el típico caldero para el trapiche el cual era el recipiente donde se colocaba el jugo extraído de la caña para su posterior procesamiento. Eso significa que esa zona estaba poblada por haciendas de trapiche, cultura antigua de economía colonial y nada mejor que fuera cerca de las costas del caribe zonas de trata humana para el trabajo forzado y libre comercio.
After they got tired they left,I couldn't wait to start looking for the origin of the cauldron or pan among the wise people of the town. A local woman told me that this was the typical cauldron for the trapiche, which was the container where the juice extracted from the cane was placed for further processing. This means that this area was populated by sugar mill haciendas, an ancient culture of colonial economy and nothing better than being near the Caribbean coast, areas of human trafficking for forced labor and free trade.
La señora me comentó que esa paila estaba ubicada en la ladera de la montaña del pueblo, teniendo más de 200 años de antigüedad, y que fue mudada a esa plaza para su presentación y preservación, quedando así un legado ancestral de gran importancia para los lugareños… Realmente fue una grata sorpresa que me lleve al admirar esa reliquia que el pueblo mantiene allí bajo un antiguo árbol de almendrón que también es parte de su historia, y que algunos cuentan con orgullo, otros con nostalgia en la voz y la mirada.
The lady told me that this pan was located on the mountainside of the town, being more than 200 years old, and that it was moved to that square for its presentation and preservation, thus leaving an ancestral legacy of great importance for the locals. … It really was a pleasant surprise that it took me to admire that relic that the town keeps there under an old almendrón tree that is also part of its history, and that some tell with pride, others with nostalgia in their voices and eyes.

Vaya, qué enorme!!! Tengo una hermana que cuando viaja, le dan esos beri beri 😂 pero cuando viaja en bus nada más. Me imagino que disfrutaste la estadía en ese pueblo.
