Funzeum - Centro de entretenimiento para niños en Gliwice (Polonia) [ESP/ENG]

Hola a todos! así como les conté en un post anterior, el fin de semana pasado Pawel, Olivia y yo tuvimos la oportunidad de visitar el centro de entretenimiento Funzeum en la ciudad de Gliwice (Polonia), y la verdad es que nos encantó, especialmente a Olivia pues este es un lugar dedicado para los niños, con muchas atracciones, juegos y colores. Nos tomó un poco menos de 30 minutos en llegar allí desde Sosnoswiec en carro y aunque la entrada es un poco costosa a nuestro parecer, sin duda alguna fue una visita que valió la pena y es que yo tenía muchas ganas de conocer este lugar, solo estabamos esperando que Olivia tuviese la edad perfecta para ir y justo ahora lo era.

Hello, everyone! As I mentioned in a previous post, last weekend Pawel, Olivia, and I had the opportunity to visit the Funzeum entertainment center in the city of Gliwice (Poland), and we really loved it, especially Olivia, as this is a place dedicated to children, with lots of attractions, games, and colors. It took us a little less than 30 minutes to get there from Sosnowiec by car, and although the entrance fee is a bit expensive in our opinion, it was definitely worth the visit. I really wanted to see this place, we were just waiting for Olivia to be the perfect age to go, and now she was.

Ahora bien, por todas las entradas pagamos 148 eslotis o 41 dólares aproximadamente, es decir, Pawel y yo pagamos 69 eslotis por cada uno de nosotros y válido por 2 horas, y Olivia pagó solo 10 eslotis por ser una bebé, pero si tardabamos más tiempo que ese, antes de salir debíamos pagar 10 eslotis más por cada 30 minutos adicionales, por suerte las 2 horas fueron suficientes para nosotros recorrer todo el lugar. Otra cosa que les quiero mencionar, es que este es un lugar que se llena bastante de gente, por eso les recomiendo elegir un buen día para ir, tal vez no en el fin de semana, pues pienso que nosotros tuvimos suerte al ir un día lluvioso pues a pesar de que había gente no era demasiada pero ya habíamos escuchado que siempre está lleno.

Now, we paid 148 eslotis or approximately $41 for all the tickets, meaning Pawel and I paid 69 eslotis each, valid for two hours, and Olivia paid only 10 eslotis because she is a baby. but if we stayed longer than that, we had to pay 10 eslotis more for every additional 30 minutes before leaving. Luckily, the 2 hours were enough for us to see the whole place. Another thing I want to mention is that this place gets quite crowded, so I recommend choosing a good day to go, perhaps not on the weekend. I think we were lucky to go on a rainy day because, even though there were people there, it wasn't too crowded, but we had heard that it's always full.

Una vez pagamos los tickets, entramos y alguien allí muy amablemente nos explicó un poco de como funciona el lugar o por donde debíamos ir, luego la primera área que visitamos fue una donde vimos un video, yo no podía entender mucho de lo que decía ya que aún no hablo polaco, pero Olivia estaba muy entretenida viendo como cambiaba la sala de color, después entramos a otra área oscura donde al mover alguno de los pequeños vidrios se obtienen efectos visuales, y es que este lugar despierta mucho la mente de los niños.

Once we paid for the tickets, we went inside and someone there very kindly explained a little about how the place works and where we should go. Then, the first area we visited was one where we watched a video. I couldn't understand much of what was being said as I don't speak Polish yet, but Olivia was very entertained watching how the room changed color. Then we entered another dark area where moving some of the small pieces of glass created visual effects. This place really stimulates children's minds.

Luego venía mi parte favorita, las salas de colores, lugar perfecto para hacer lindas fotos, la primera fue la morada, Olivia se entretuvo mucho en cada una de ellas también, diciendo los colores y viendo y tocando los objetos que habían allí. En estas salas también había alguna pequeña explicación de donde viene cada color, y pienso que cada una estas muy bien pensada, más entramos al área rosada, azul, verde, rojo, amarillo y naranja y no se preocupen que en cada una de estas hay un letrero que dice por donde debes continuar caminando , y ahora mismo no sé cual fue mi favorita pero todas me encantaron.

Then came my favorite part, the color rooms, the perfect place to take beautiful photos. The first one was purple. Olivia had a lot of fun in each one, naming the colors and looking at and touching the objects there. In these rooms, there was also a short explanation of where each color comes from, and I think each one is very well thought out. We entered the pink, blue, green, red, yellow, and orange areas, and don't worry, in each one there is a sign that tells you where to continue walking. Right now, I don't know which one was my favorite, but I loved them all.

Luego entramos por otra área donde jugamos con la luz blanca escribiendo en una pared, después nos pusimos unos lentes para ver en 3D una sala llena de colores, y es que hay demasiado para ver y hacer. Juegos como piscina de pelotas, introducir tubos de colores en una pared, un área para pintar, un laboratorio para niños más grandes, un pequeño parque, una zona de construcción o ladrillos, una área para jugar con pelotas y es que allí Olivia tenía demasiadas cosas para divertirse y no se preocupen si quieren tomar o comer algo pues allí también hay un pequeño café.

Then we entered another area where we played with white light by writing on a wall, then we put on glasses to see a room full of colors in 3D. There is so much to see and do. Games such as a ball pool, inserting colored tubes into a wall, an area for painting, a laboratory for older children, a small park, a construction or brick area, an area for playing with balls... Olivia had so many things to enjoy there. And don't worry if you want to have a drink or something to eat, as there is also a small café.

Tal vez en las fotos nos les alcancé a mostrar todo lo que este lugar tiene, pero realmente es increíble y sin duda alguna les puedo decir que hasta los padres nos divertimos mucho allí, así que se los recomiendo visitar si están en Polonia, pues a sus hijos les va a encantar y van a aprender y descubrir muchas cosas, además de disfrutar y pasar un momento agradable y diferente. Finalmente para salir visitamos la tienda donde venden un montón de cosas geniales y coloridas, seguro les va a encantar también, así que no esperen más que a sus hijos les espera mucha diversión allí.

Perhaps the photos don't show everything this place has to offer, but it really is incredible, and I can say without a doubt that even the parents had a lot of fun there. I recommend visiting if you're in Poland, because your children will love it and learn and discover many things, as well as enjoying themselves and having a fun and unique experience. Finally, before leaving, we visited the shop where they sell lots of cool and colorful things. I'm sure you'll love it too, so don't wait any longer—your children will have a lot of fun there.
