The Unplanned and Unpredictable Birthday
I have never been someone who ever planned her birthday, I guess that's how I have been doing for the past 10 years, I do not know why but one of the reasons, is I don't get to have a plan for anything on my birthday is because I do not like to feel disappointed or have my hopes high then get bashed to the wall just in case all I planned or expected didn't work as planned.
So, I just leave my day to fate and see how it goes for me, whichever way it goes, I try as much as possible to roll on the buzz because it's my birthday. I do not expect anything from myself or anyone.
Yesterday, I added another year to my age, and like every other birthday, although this birthday was slightly different but I had no plans or idea of how the day was going to look because I never do.
Fortunately for me, I woke up in the morning with a bloated stomach and a class to attend in the early hours of the morning till noon time and so, I had to rush out of the house whilst I looked for medication to help me ease my bloated stomach.
Got to school after being able to procure medication but my stomach wasn't having it my way, so I rushed to a friend's house, to ease myself while I take the medication.
I was done relieving myself and decided to rest before I left for another class when a call came through my phone from a very close buddy telling me he would like to see me, I told him where I was and he asked me to wait for him while he got to me,
Got to me and told me he would love to take me out to get something for me before I headed to my next class and yeah, he did get me something spectacular as my birthday gift.
The truth is I never expected that such was going to happen because there were no signs, it was a normal day for me and was going normal with no plans though.
I got to class on time, had the lecture and the amazing thing I never expected was to see my colleagues greet me and celebrate me, and yeah, the worst part was that they poured water all over me, that was horrible because I didn't expect it, so I did not go out with extra cloth but it was fun to see people celebrate me like they've known me for decades 🤗🤗.
Well, I had to rush back home for a change of cloth 😂😂 because I was already feeling frozen in my wet clothes and to relieve myself because my stomach was still the same. On my way home, rushed into a pharmacy to get another medication as the one I took in the morning didn't work, got to chat with my wonderful friend who told me her plans for me and yeah, it wasn't a bad idea, so we both made plans of where we would meet, but our meeting was prolonged because the rain began.
I decided to rock my gift CROCS to the place because why not, it looked beautiful on my legs, it was admired by everyone who saw it and I felt so grateful that he got it for me.
After the rain subsided a bit, we meet and hit the road moving to our designated location. We got there and yeah, due to the medication, I took my stomach began to trouble me again, so I used to use their restroom while my friend ordered for us.
Pardon me, we forgot to take a picture of the full meal that we were served but it was indeed delicious and worth our money. Actually, my friend was the one who took me out, so she paid for everything and whatever I cared to order.
It was a remarkable, unplanned, and unpredictable birthday for me.
