We got up early to continue visiting some villages near the lake. Each one is more beautiful than the previous one and with its own "personality".

We could not miss visiting the town that gives its name to the lake. The road distance between Dubino and Como is approximately 42-45 kilometers, taking the most direct route via local roads.
We passed through many villages along the way.

Nos levantamos temprano para seguir conociendo algunos pueblos cercanos al lago. Cada uno es más bonito que el anterior y con su propia "personalidad"

No podíamos dejar de visitar la ciudad que le da el nombre al lago. La distancia por carretera entre Dubino y Como es de aproximadamente 42-45 kilómetros, tomando la ruta más directa a través de las carreteras locales.
Fuimos pasando por muchos pueblos a la orilla del camino.

Along the way we passed through several villages, there was a lot of traffic and I kept taking pictures through the car window. I didn't want to miss the details, the typical doors and windows of each place. The bell towers that marked each new town. The bars along the way, the smell of coffee and cookies.

Arriving in the city of Como, we decided to look for a place near the lake where we could have a drink and enjoy the view.

We just happened to find a spectacular place with huge gardens and decided that this was the place we wanted to be.

Al llegar a la ciudad de Como, decidimos buscar un lugar cerca del lago donde tomar algo y disfrutar de las vistas.

Justo encontramos un lugar espectacular, con jardines inmensos y decidimos que ese era el sitio donde queríamos estar.

Villa Olmo in Como is amazing! It is a sort of neoclassical mansion that radiates breathtaking beauty. Upon arrival I was surprised that its gardens were open to the public. Today, the villa is owned by the municipality and is used for exhibitions, events and conferences. But what really leaves me speechless is the Italian garden that surrounds it - it's like a little piece of paradise on earth!

¡Villa Olmo en Como es asombrosa! Es una especie de mansión neoclásica que irradia una belleza impresionante. Al llegar me sorprendió que sus jardines estuviesen abiertos al público. It is as if it had been taken out of a fairy tale. This villa was built in the 18th century and according to a plaque that was in the villa, I learned that it was designed by an architect named Simone Cantoni for the Marquis Odescalchi di Fino Mornasco. They must have been very important people!

I was able to find out (from the outside because it was closed) that when you enter the villa, it is as if you were transported to another era. The interior is full of incredible paintings and statues. Also, there is a theater inside the villa with acoustics that must be magical.

The most exciting, in my opinion, are the views from the villa. From there, you can see the entire lake and part of the city. It's like a giant postcard come to life. And in the back, imagine a beautiful English garden with a neoclassical temple! It's as if every corner of this place is filled with wonder.
I was pleasantly surprised by the beauty of Villa Olmo, it's a place I will never forget!

Lo más emocionante, en mi opinión, son las vistas desde la villa. Desde allí, puedes ver todo el lago y una parte de la ciudad. Es como una postal gigante que cobra vida. The "Lago di Como", I found it immense, from that area you can see it from any village and when you return home it accompanies you along the way. It has an area of approximately 146 square kilometers. It is one of the largest lakes in Italy and is located in the region of Lombardy, in the north of the country. Its elongated and meandering formation borders several towns, and its waters are surrounded by mountains and hills.
It produces the sensation of being in a movie because of the beauty of its natural scenery.

El "Lago di Como", me pareció inmenso, desde esa zona se puede visualizar desde cualquier pueblo y cuando regresas a casa te acompaña a lo largo del camino. Tiene una extensión de aproximadamente 146 kilómetros cuadrados. Es uno de los lagos más grandes de Italia y se encuentra en la región de Lombardía, en el norte del país. In addition to the seaplanes that take tourists around the lake, on the side of the mountain you can see straight up where you see a carriage going up overcoming the law of gravity. The funicular has been in operation since 1894 and makes it easy for people to get to the top of the hill.

Además de los hidroaviones que pasean a los turistas por el lago, en la parte de la montaña se puede observar en línea recta hacia arriba donde ves un vagón subir venciendo la ley de la gravedad. El funicular funciona desde 1894 y le facilita a la gente el poder llegar a la cima de la colina.

It was time to return, every day the scenery became more interesting, as well as what we discovered in each place. We didn't want to think about saying goodbye, but each day was getting closer to the end of the adventure. There are still some interesting details missing, which I will explain soon.
