¡Se perdió Reina pero volvió! / Reina was lost but came back!
Hola amigos amantes de los animales, hoy vengo a contarles sobre un enorme susto que tuvimos este sábado con mi perra Reina. Reina vive en una finca y tiene tres hermanos más grandes, Bruno, Cachito y Nerón. Son perros que están acostumbrados al campo y andan libres por toda la finca, que es extensa. Como Reina aún es cachorra, no se aleja mucho de la casa, a lo sumo sale a la calle (hemos puesto cuanta barrera se les ocurra para que no lo haga, dese alambrado, palos, plantas, portón… pero ella siempre consigue la manera), que no es muy transitada. Este sábado a la madrugada nos levantamos y no podíamos encontrarla por ningún lado.

They are dogs that are used to the countryside and run free all over the farm, which is extensive. This Saturday morning we woke up and could not find her anywhere.
Nos juntamos toda la familia y la buscamos por toda la finca y también por las vecinas, mandamos un mensaje al chat de vecinos por si la habían visto y los niños los visitaron para buscar en sus propiedades. Nadie la había visto y no pudimos encontrarla. Eso fue durante todo el sábado.
We got the whole family together and searched all over the farm and also the neighbors, we sent a message to the neighbors chat in case they had seen her and the children visited them to search their properties. No one had seen her and we could not find her. That went on all day Saturday.
El domingo a la tarde apareció, asustada y muy cansada, temblaba entera. No llevaba puesta su ropita (la fucsia que tiene en la imagen), que nosotros le ponemos siempre de noche porque es muy friolenta (es mezcla con galgo); pero sana, limpia (demasiado para haber estado perdida en el campo, es época de riego) y sin ninguna mordedura. Hasta el momento no sabemos qué le ocurrió, ni cómo perdió la ropita.
Sunday afternoon she showed up, scared and very tired, shaking all over. She was not wearing her clothes (the fuchsia she has in the picture), which we always wear at night because she is very cold (she is a greyhound mix); but she was healthy, clean (too clean to have been lost in the countryside, it is watering season) and without any bite. So far we don't know what happened to her, nor how she lost her clothes.
En el pasado nos ha ocurrido (más veces de la que me gustaría contar) que se roban los perros, muchas veces con la débil excusa de que creían que estaban abandonados. Mis perros siempre llevan collar he identificación y en invierno ropa, por lo que esta costumbre nos frustra mucho. Hay gente que viene de la ciudad y, no sé por qué, pero tiene estos hábitos. Y acá viven tres niños que siempre se quedan llorando cuando desaparece alguna de sus mascotas. Es muy triste, porque nosotros consideramos a nuestros animales como parte de la familia y nos duele mucho su pérdida. Esta vez tuvimos suerte, pero me gustaría que la gente comprenda que porque un animal ande libre en el campo no quiere decir que esté perdido o abandonado, no nos gustan las cadenas y no los atamos; y no apoyo esta costumbre. De todos modos, tenemos la suerte de que Reina volvió y eso es todo lo que nos importa ahora. Estamos muy felices, no se imaginan cuánto.
In the past it has happened to us (more times than I would like to count) that dogs are stolen, often with the flimsy excuse that they thought they were abandoned. My dogs always wear collars and identification and in winter clothes, so this habit frustrates us a lot. There are people who come from the city and, I don't know why, but they have these habits. And here live three children who are always crying when one of their pets disappears. It is very sad, because we consider our animals as part of the family and it hurts us a lot when we lose them. This time we were lucky, but I would like people to understand that just because an animal runs free in the countryside does not mean it is lost or abandoned, we don't like chains and we don't tie them up; and I don't support this custom. Anyway, we are lucky that Reina is back and that is all that matters to us now. We are very happy, you can't imagine how happy we are.

Que alegría que recuperes tu mascota, me sucedió algo parecido y mi perra se perdió por 6 meses gracias a quienes la encontraron que la cuidaron muy bien, hasta lloraron antes se entregármela haha.
