HAPPINESS IS A CHOICE

Hello everyone 💞💞,
Welcome to my blog and to another wonderful edition of the newbies initiative of the hive Learners weekly contest pleasures to be here again.

Happiness for me is a choice between in life you can't control what happens to you or what people do to you but you can control your mind, that is why I said happiness is a choice.
To many people they believe happiness is having luxuries, living a free life full of all the wealth, fancy things of this life. But there are some people with all these things but they are not happy. You see people with rich husbands, beautiful marriages and they are obsessed with power yet they are not happy.

SO WHAT IS THEN HAPPINESS?

Happiness is just the State of mind you choose to have, ya it a choice we choose to be happy and we can also choose to be sad. Most times the environment we are in can influence our state of mind, so people feel happy when they are around their loved ones, so feel happy when they succeed while some just choose to be happy no matter the situations they find themselves in.

For me I decided my happiness, I learnt some years back that no matter what someone will do to me or no matter the challenges of life I may face in all this those things will not determine for me when to be happy. I'm always smiling, people do ask me why are you always smiling,I will just tell them you won't understand. Because my happiness does not come from the environment I found myself neither the circumstances surrounding my life at that particular time but for the fact that I'm alive to witness that day and minute is enough reason why I should smile.

I don't smile because I'm happy but I'm happy because I smile. People around me know me for that. Don't allow things to determine your state of mind, like I said earlier you won't be able to control what people do to you and what life offers but you can control the state of your mind.

Choose to be happy today,no matter what comes your way cheer up but a smile on your face and move on. Always have hope for the future because God's plan for the future is for good. These should be your confidence that as long as there is life you can make it no matter what comes your way.

I don't allow things created by man to make me think less of myself because I have HOPE
