Всем привет!	Hello everyone!
Очередное моё ботаническое открытие, совершённое в сентябрьской поездке в Пятигорск в 2022 году.	Another botanical discovery of mine, made during a September trip to Pyatigorsk in 2022.
Этот белоснежный кустик я увидела на одной из клумб в музее Лермонтова. Чем ближе я к нему подходила, тем интереснее он мне казался. Конечно, я остановилась и сделала несколько кадров.	I saw this snow-white bush in one of the flower beds in the Lermontov Museum. The closer I got to it, the more interesting it seemed to me. Of course, I stopped and took a few photos.

Подруга предположила, что это молочай, и оказалась права. Позже я поискала в Интернете и уточнила вид растения. Это оказался молочай окаймленный (Euphorbia marginata, syn. E. variegata). Оказывается, он был очень популярен в 70-е годы в СССР, его сажали в палисадниках и цветниках (подруга помнит, а я нет). Потом цветок был забыт, так как его стали считать слишком простым, деревенским. А сейчас опять многие садоводы обратили на него своё внимание.

My friend suggested that it was a milkweed, and she was right. Later, I searched the Internet and clarified the type of plant. It turned out to be a bordered milkweed (Euphorbia marginata, syn. E. variegata). It turns out that it was very popular in the 70s in the USSR, it was planted in front gardens and flower beds (my friend remembers, but I don’t). Then the flower was forgotten, as it began to be considered too simple, rustic. And now many gardeners have turned their attention to it again.

Этот молочай родом из горных районов США. В нашей стране он, конечно, приобрел говорящие за себя народные названия: «горный снег», «снежная вершина», «зимний ковер» и «богатая невеста».

This milkweed is native to the mountainous regions of the USA. In our country, of course, it has acquired self-explanatory folk names: "mountain snow", "snow peak", "winter carpet" and "rich bride".

У меня дома есть несколько суккулентов-молочаев. Я знаю, что цветочки у молочаев обычно мелкие и неброские. Но если рассмотреть их вблизи, они очень интересные. Фотоаппарат помогает в этом, можно увеличить маленькие цветы.	I have several succulent milkweeds at home. I know that milkweed flowers are usually small and inconspicuous. But if you look at them closely, they are very interesting. A camera helps with this, you can enlarge small flowers.
Этому молочаю особую прелесть придают листья с широкой белой каймой.	This milkweed is especially charming due to its leaves with a wide white border.

Когда смотришь, на это цветущее растение чуть на отдалении, то листья и цветы создают общее впечатление нарядного белого букета.

When you look at this flowering plant from a little distance, the leaves and flowers create the overall impression of a smart white bouquet.
