Hello everyone. I took this photo the exact moment my coworkers and I were heading to board the plane bound for Gansu province, from the Beijing airport in China. The person in the foreground of the photo is a professor from the Academy of Geology in the Asian country who accompanied us throughout our stay, and made sure (just like the team of Chinese translators) that each of us felt well away from home. That is why we all remember the professor with great fondness.

Hola a todos. Esta foto la tomé en el instante en que mis compañeros de trabajo y yo nos dirigíamos a abordar el avión con destino a la provincia de Gansu, desde el aeropuerto de Beijing en China. La persona en el primer plano de la foto corresponde a una profesora de la Academia de Geología en el país asiático que nos acompañó a lo largo de nuestra estancia, y se mantuvo al tanto (al igual que el equipo de traductores chinos) de que cada uno de nosotros se sintiera bien lejos de casa.
