Hello everyone. I took this photo a few days ago while the Procession of the Virgin was happening in the streets of the municipality of Regla, Cuba. This is a religious celebration and there were many excited people dancing and smiling to the Afro-Cuban chants. I was struck by how the women in Regla carried the processional floats of the virgins while dancing and shouting.

Hola a todos. Esta foto la tomé hace unos días mientras ocurría la Procesión de la Vírgen en las calles del municipio de Regla, Cuba. Esta es una celebración religiosa y había mucha gente emocionada bailando y sonriendo con los cánticos afrocubanos. Me llamó la atención cómo las mujeres en Regla cargaban las carrozas procesionales de las vírgenes, mientras bailaban y gritaban.
