📸 PhotoFeed Contest - Macro Photography Round 169 (ENG-ESP)
​Hi everyone! I took this photo because I found the shape of this flower really interesting. In Cuba, it’s commonly known as 'pica pica' because if your skin brushes against its hairs, it causes an unbearable itch. When I was a student, the troublemakers at school used to throw this on other students to start fights. Back then, it was also common to find teenagers on public transport throwing 'pica pica' fuzz at you just to be mean. This flower looks so delicate, yet it’s so dangerous... that's nature for you.
I used my Xiaomi phone camera with the following settings:

Hola a todos. Tomé esta foto porque me pareció muy interesante la forma en la que se ve esta Flor. En Cuba se le denomina popularmente "pica pica", porque si te rozas la piel con algunos de sus pelos, produce una picazón insoportable. Cuando era estudiante los chicos más traviesos de la escuela solÃan echarle esto a otros estudiantes para provocar peleas. También era común en mi tiempo encontrar algún adolescente en el transporte público arrojándote pelitos de la "pica pica" solo por maldad. Esta flor se ve tan tierna y a la vez es tan peligrosa... cosas de la naturaleza.
