Hello everyone. I took this photo in the historic Church of Our Lady of the Sacred Heart, which belonged to the former boarding school of the Piarist Fathers (Escolapios) in Guanabacoa, Havana (Cuba). It depicts Saint Thérèse of the Child Jesus, a nun who passed away at a very young age. To her, roses signified acts of love, which is why she is always represented this way: holding roses next to a crucifix.

​This was her promise: "After my death, I will let fall a shower of roses.'"

Hola a todos. Esta foto la tomé en la histórica iglesia de Nuestra Señora del Sagrado Corazón, perteneciente al antiguo colegio de los Padres Escolapios de Guanabacoa, La Habana (Cuba). Se trata de Santa Teresita del Niño Jesús, quien fue una monja que falleció muy joven. Para ella las rosas significaban actos de amor, por eso siempre se la representa así: sosteniendo rosas junto a una cruz.

Esta fue su promesa: "Después de mi muerte, haré caer una lluvia de rosas."
