A day in Pilar's life

Hello everyone. In April I meet the little girl Pilar at the Catholic church in Guanabacoa, Cuba during the Holy Week celebration. Her family often goes to this church. I loved meeting her and my photographer friends loved meeting her too, as each of them has at least one picture of her.

Pilar is a very inquisitive and curious girl. Her energy stood out amidst the calm of the Catholic sermons. She is beatiful, with cute eyes and a contagious smilie that ilumitates wherever she is.

She doesn't go unnotice; she moves exploring every site and asks with her arms and hands about everything she sees. The curiosity in her is a wonderful gift and very significant to capture in a picture. I used a Nikon camera and it was easy to capture the essence of the girl. However, I imagine that Pilar is very challenging for her parents because the baby is very inquisitive and on their faces, you can see the exhaustion but also the love for her.

I learned that children's photos are more natural when they are playing. Pilar's mom smiles when she sees the photos and thanks me. She is a young mom. I hope that she and her husband can be a good guides for their baby's life. Childhood is the best part of our lives, and this baby is as happy as any other.
