Hola a todos, espero que les esté yendo de maravilla. Por mi parte, he estado un poco desaparecida ya que habia estado con el tema del permiso de trabajo para poder establecerme legalmente en Medellín, Colombia y así puedan aceptarme en algunas empresas para trabajar. Sin embargo, ayer, antes de ir a Migración para que pudieran tomar mis datos biometricos, hicimos una respectiva parada en El Santuario de la Rosa Mistica en Poblado.

Hello everyone, I hope you are doing great. For my part, I have been a bit absent since I had been dealing with the issue of the work permit to be able to establish myself legally in Medellin, Colombia so that they can accept me in some companies to work. However, yesterday, before going to Immigration so that they could take my biometric data, we made a respective stop at El Santuario de la Rosa Mistica in Poblado.

Ya habia pasado en varias oportunidades por aquí, puesto que el bus que tomo para ir a Poblado desde mi lugar de residencia, siempre pasa por esta calle y se puede observar este lugar de peregrinación. Aunque nunca había decidido hacer una parada, el día de ayer fue posible puesto que el bus nos dejaba aqui y debiamos tomar otro camino para llegar a donde teniamos planeado ir.

I had already passed through here several times, since the bus I take to go to Poblado from my place of residence always passes through this street and you can see this place of pilgrimage. Although I had never decided to make a stop, yesterday it was possible since the bus left us here and we had to take another way to get to where we had planned to go.

Al llegar al sitio, me di cuenta que habian al menos tres puestos vendiendo bisuteria, estampas, velones, velas y todo lo relacionado al mundo religioso. La verdad me acerqué a todos y vendian cosas muy bonitas. Nosotras por su parte, compramos un velón, se lo prendimos a la virgencita y oramos un poco en agradecimiento a las cosas buenas y no tan buenas que han sucedido aquí.

Upon arriving at the site, I realized that there were at least three stalls selling jewelry, prints, candles, candles and everything related to the religious world. The truth is that I approached everyone and they sold very nice things. For our part, we bought a candle, we lit it to the little virgin and we prayed a little in gratitude for the good and not so good things that have happened here.

Habian varias personas, algunos iban a quedarse la misa entera y otros solo pasaban a agradecer, orar un poco y seguir su camino. Apesar de que no es techado, la gente lleva sus paraguas para poder quedarse. Es un bonito lugar para aquellos que adoran a la Virgen. Tengo entendido que muchas personas se acercan aquí, para rezar y agradecer a la Rosa Mistica por algunos favores recibidos.

There were several people, some were going to stay for the entire mass and others just stopped by to thank, pray a little and continue on their way. Although it is not roofed, people bring their umbrellas to stay. It is a nice place for those who worship the Virgin. I understand that many people come here to pray and thank the Rosa Mistica for some favors received.

Debes tener cuidado si quieres acercarte aquí, porque en el piso hay mucho material de vela pegado que puede hacerte resbalar. Es un espacio abierto para todo el que quiera acercarse y puedes observar la Virgen y el montón de placas de agradecimiento a ella. Muchas personas como nosotras, compran y dejan un vela o velón encendido y le oran, otras solo pasan de sus carros y le echan un saludito a la virgen. ¡Qué bonito!

You have to be careful if you want to get close here, because there is a lot of sail material stuck to the floor that can make you slip. It is an open space for anyone who wants to come and you can see the Virgin and the pile of plaques thanking her. Many people like us, buy and leave a candle lit and pray to it, others just pass from their cars and say hello to the virgin. How nice!

Para terminar nuestro día luego de varias diligencias, me voy al edificio San Fernando Plaza mientras esperaba que José saliera de su trabajo. Para mi sorpresa, me encontré con un montón de obras super lindas ya que aquí siempre hacen este tipo de exposiciones para que la gente se acerca y las vea o incluso por si alguien decide comprarlas.

To end our day after several errands, I go to the San Fernando Plaza building while I wait for José to get off work. To my surprise, I found a lot of super cute works because here they always do this type of exhibition for people to come and see them or even in case someone decides to buy them.

Desde distintos tipos de pájaros que no se en qué material estaban elaborados pero su pintura lucía fenomenal, algunas pinturas y hasta cuadros de dibujos pintados por niños. Todo se veía muy lindo y habian varias personas acercandose a verlas. Este edificio es bastante concurrido puesto que es muy comercial, consigues franquicias, otros tipo de restaurantes e incluso venta de ropa y accesorios lo que se conoce como un Bazar.

From different types of birds that I don't know what material they were made of but their painting looked phenomenal, some paintings and even pictures of drawings painted by children. Everything looked very nice and there were several people coming to see them. This building is quite crowded since it is very commercial, you get franchises, other types of restaurants and even the sale of clothes and accessories in what is known as a Bazaar.

Así que si vienes a Medellín y te hablan de San Fernando Plaza en Poblado, nos dudes en venir. Hay Juan Valdéz por si decides tomarte un buen café o comer pan de bono deliciosos.
