Visit to the lake [En|Es] ♥
Hi Guys! ♥
A couple of months ago I was visiting the city centre and as I was walking towards the back of one of the iconic shopping centres, I came across the Maracaibo Lake.
At that time I told you here on my blog that for us Zulianos it is not very common to visit it despite our proximity because it is polluted.
It is sad to see how a landscape that can be almost perfect can be marred by oil stains from spills and a lot of rubbish and pollution.
Something that could be an excellent plan becomes a passing visit for such reasons. I wish I could have been there in the days of our grandparents, when it was still possible to bathe in the waters of such a huge lake.
It was surely something wonderful. I share with you the pictures that I had missed to share with you.

Hace un par de meses estuve de visita en el centro de la ciudad y al ir hacia la parte de atrás de uno de los centros comerciales icónicos, me topé con el lago de Maracaibo.
En aquel momento les hablé acá en mi blog de que para nosotros los zulianos no es muy común visitarlo a pesar de nuestra cercanía porque está contaminado.
Es triste ver como un paisaje que puede llegar a ser casi perfecto se pueda ver empañado por manchas de petróleo producto de derrames y de muchísima basura y contaminación.
Algo que podría ser un excelente plan se convierte en una visita pasajera por tales motivos. Me gustaría haber estado en la época de nuestros abuelos, donde todavía era posible bañarse en las aguas de tal inmenso lago.
De seguro era algo maravilloso. Les comparto las fotografías que habían faltado por compartirles.
