An icon of my city 🌄

I was born and raised in the city of Cabimas, a small town in Venezuela. As in every city there are icons or important sites that represent it and this is one that represents my city.

It is called the Inos tank and it is well known because it is the largest structure in the city (well I am almost sure of this). According to what I read on Google it is 17 meters high and although it seems little the truth is quite an imposing structure.

In Cabimas there are very few buildings, and around this water tank there are none, that's why it stands out so much from a distance.

When I went to the city on Sunday to vote for the elections, I had to walk by it and I didn't waste the opportunity to take pictures of it and to take a picture with the tank in the background. These are things that I have been doing with those icons of the city like the cathedral that I showed you a few weeks ago.

It's something that represents the city I come from and I wanted to share with you today. ☺️✨

Nací y crecí en la ciudad de Cabimas, una pequeña población de Venezuela. Cómo en toda ciudad hay iconos o sitios importantes que la representan y este es uno que representa mi ciudad.

Se llama tanque de Inos y es muy conocido porque es la estructura más grande de la ciudad (bueno estoy casi segura de esto). Según leí en Google tiene 17 metros de altura y aunque parece poco la verdad es una estructura bastante imponente.

En cabimas hay muy pocos edificios, y a los alrededores de este tanque de agua no hay ninguno, por eso resalta tanto desde la lejanía.

Cuando fui el domingo a la ciudad para votar para las elecciones, me tocó caminar junto a él y no desperdicié la oportunidad para tomarle fotos y para tomarme una foto con el tanque de fondo. Estás son cosas que he venido haciendo con aquellos íconos de la ciudad como la catedral que les mostré hace algunas semanas.

Es algo que representa la ciudad de la que provengo y que quería compartir hoy con ustedes. ☺️✨
