DriveZone, car simulators, and pizza, but steps came up short [#poprzeczka June 2026 #08]

Slow morning — Monday after a full weekend

Monday mornings after an active weekend tend to be slow. The body said sit, the chair listened. Not much movement in the first half of the day.

Afternoon — DriveZone and the shaking seats

From midday, things picked up. A visit to DriveZone turned the afternoon into something completely different. Four 15-minute sessions on the Grobnik circuit in Audi TT cars on motion simulators. The seats shake you exactly like the real track — and after four sessions, your body honestly believes you've been racing for an hour. It was demanding in the way a proper day at the track would be. No steps to show for it, but genuine fatigue nonetheless.

Evening — pizza at Bella Napoli

After the track, a proper meal. Pizza at Bella Napoli sealed the day nicely. Sometimes the best reward for a day that didn't move the earth is a good pizza and a satisfied stomach.

The #poprzeczka

Day 8 of June. The bar was set at 8,000 steps. The final count stopped at 6,000 — short by 2,000. The first miss of the month. One lDriveZone session too many, one too few steps. The challenge continues tomorrow.
